It amazes me how many can find the time to canvass and e-mail City council about potholes and buses and post on social media nearly every night for 6+ weeks, yet come June 8th they'll be too busy to help voluntary groups.
Prove me wrong why don't ye.
Can't wait to see all these candidates with all the time they'll have on their hands from June 8th helping out their Local Tidy Towns, Meals on wheels, youth clubs, football teams, boxing clubs, etc.....
@TogherT Committee and Volunteers would like to thank all of the attached candidates for supporting our Poster Zone Campaign. As a voluntary group, we're delighted to have the hard work we do within the community recognised. We wish you all the best of luck in your campaigns.
@SkyBetChamp@LUFC Patrick Bamford gets a lot of stick but he does so much closing down and forcing opposition keepers to kick long he should get more credit. His pass opened up the midfield. Great win and move onto Friday with optimism. @RonLehane@FLehane@LUFC
WE REGRET that this cage will have to be removed if people continue to put their household recycling into it. The purpose of these cages is to help keep our streets clean from bottles, cans etc for passers by. @corkbeo@corkcitycouncil

To give credit where it's due, a very big thank you to @corkcitycouncil who got around to cutting back the hedging overgrowth and cleaned up the grass verges outside brook Lane and Matthew hill all before nesting season commenced on March 1st. 🙌

Douglas Tidy Town, Turner's Cross Climate Action Group and other groups have come together to help sustain our river for years to come.
One wise man, two Elves & two reindogeers spotted putting up the Tree of Remembrance outside the Post office on Edward Walsh road and on Togher road
We invite members of the public to place a decoration in memory of someone passed or who can't be home this Christmas.

@savebrideotters We had similar issues in an estate in Lehenaghmore, Togher. It's a problem across the city particularly with estates that haven't been handed over to @corkcitycouncil as the builder hasn't completed the necessary work. Locals had to get together to try resolve
