Elbow update: flew to Japan and got an ultrasound done which was only $70 with 0 insurance coverage and which I scheduled only 1 day in advance. Diagnosis is an enlarged blood vessel interfering with the tendons in the arm.

Strength tests/symptoms seem to indicate it’s still treatable without surgery. Just need to find somewhere that can treat it. Trying to work something out with my literal top tier American insurance, which just approved me for a place that doesn’t even do elbows.

@restartsyndrome Also the last time I went to the ER when I lit couldn’t walk they just loaded me up on fent/morphine and sent me on my way. The doctor there just ignored the blood tests that showed I had dangerously low potassium.

Haven’t been able to play much mainly because I have a lump in my left elbow that’s been slowly growing for the past 1 1/2 years. Lately I’ve been noticing tingling/numbness in the hand and worried there might be nerve compression. Not sure what to do. Pretty scared right now.

@restartsyndrome Basically it’s gotten to this point because it takes forever to get doctor’s appointments/tests scheduled and my previous attempts at working with orthopedic doctors/physical therapy haven’t gone well.
