@acoyne The people of Alberta have a right to self determination. We will have a referendum soon, and that determination will be made. I am voting "YES" and urging all well meaning Albertans to do same. And it is lunatics like you that got us here. You can't tell us what we can/can't do.
Michael Wilbon says the Spurs played sustain stretch of the dumbest basketball he’s ever seen:
“I’m going to give you one stat, they go 14 for 26 on threes in the first half. They built this enormous lead on three point shooting but they have to know they can’t sustain that. And I remember turning to Stephen A. At one point and saying, I get this huge lead but it’s not sustainable. They thought it was sustainable because in the second half they missed 14 of 17 threes but here’s the stat, of those 17 threes 12 of them came with 10 seconds or more on the 24 second shot clock, and of those 12 threes came with 10 seconds or more they went 1 for 12.”
Cenovus CEO Jon McKenzie says the proposed West Coast pipeline is “unfinanceable” under Canada’s current regulatory framework.
That tells Albertans what the MOU really is—not freedom from Ottawa’s barriers, but another promise trapped inside them.
Alberta needs control over its future, not permission from Ottawa.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. THE US IS SEIZING KHARG ISLAND AND IRAN'S OIL — PRESIDENT TRUMP
He's doing it...Iran will be hit "VERY HARD TONIGHT"
"At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America."
IRAN SCREWED UP!
🚨 TRUMP JUST BRIEFED THE NATION FROM THE SITUATION ROOM TONIGHT:
The last time a president did this during an active bombardment, Bush announced the ground war had begun.
– 49 Tomahawks fired at Iranian targets as close as 40 miles from Tehran
– Fighter jets swept Iranian radar and air defenses near the Gulf ahead of the strike package
– Trump, Vance, Kushner, and Witkoff all present in the Situation Room — TONIGHT
– Iran had spent months routing every message through Pakistani and Qatari intermediaries — refusing direct contact
– Then the Tomahawks started hitting
– Mid-bombardment, top Iranian officials picked up the phone and called the White House DIRECTLY
– Trump: bombing will "stop shortly" — then came the condition
– "Sign the deal or we'll bomb the S out of them TOMORROW NIGHT"
– The deal on the table: open the Strait of Hormuz and close the nuclear path — BOTH
– This is the first direct Iran-to-White House communication after months of proxy diplomacy
– The last time Iran broke from intermediaries and went direct, it was the back-channel that ended the hostage crisis
– Situation Room confirmed: the call happened MID-BOMBARDMENT — not after, not before — DURING
– Tehran now has one night to decide between a signature and another strike package
– The Strait of Hormuz carries 20% of the world's oil — TONIGHT that's the price of the deal
Trump doesn't brief the nation from the Situation Room to announce a ceasefire. He does it when he wants the world to know the other side just blinked.
Whatever Iran decides before morning — it's MARKET MOVING. It's WAR CHANGING. And the clock is already running.
I'll keep you updated as this unfolds, turn on notifications this is EXTREMELY important. A lot of people will wish they followed me sooner.
I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨
Charles Barkley:
"We saw the dumbest basketball team in the history of civilization... The San Antonio Spurs helped the New York Knicks win this game by doing some of the stupidest ass stuff I’ve ever seen on a basketball court."
How well are negotiations going between Canada & the U.S. regarding the USMCA deal?
This well…Trump says he’s not looking to renew it. I sure hope this is one of his usual troll tactics because no deal with the U.S. will ruin Canada.
Side note, how come our Government keeps telling Canadians things are going well?
.@POTUS on Iran: "We hit them hard yesterday and we're going to hit them again hard today... And we'll see what happens with the deal. We were really close to a deal — but they keep tapping us along. They keep playing us for suckers because you know what? They dealt with some very stupid Presidents."
