Solo dev making iOS apps in public

Currently building - Limber v2 - October 2026

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

I've had this account since last year and never used it properly.

Ever been through the pain of launching an app and making zero revenue? I have.

I'm learning from my mistakes and I'm going to post the work - the good, the bad, the ugly.

#buildinpublic

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@supabase so many tabs that not even a favicon is distinguishable

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@patrick_kuhnke_ keeping it blunt since day 1

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@itsalicesoul localhost:3000

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@matt_teeixeira i need to stare at the ceiling for 45 minutes and reconsider every decision in my life that led me to this exact moment of reflection

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@pigg_thomas i believe in you - first step is to turn on the macbook

infinite possibilities from there

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@niqudrift claude be spittin' nonsense at a rate of 2,000 wpm

thank god for code review difs

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@ThePeterMick imagine the wpm possibilities on that bad boy

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@pcshipp it's usually the wrong audience on there anyways

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@hraness @zeddotdev @DevinAI praise his name

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@sflorimm no complaints on external things = no internal thoughts wasted on things you can't change sometimes anyways

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@anah_sahh i mean, claude code sessions will automatically resume when my usage resets now so i guess that's cool

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

Working only “Monday to Friday”? That’s cute.

The grind doesn’t stop when there are session tokens to burn 24/7.

Fellow builders — are you actually able to take a break on weekends?

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@matt_teeixeira // TODO - FIX THIS NOW

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@brutus022 hoping that 5 usage hour window looks more like pro limits and not max exhaustion - god bless & happy birthday

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@andymewborn the real champion isn’t the person who says “yes”

it’s the person who makes sure everyone else can say “yes” too

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@davidcafor nvm, this looks fresh af - link it up boss

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@skpnky problem solvers - if the solution to my problems don't exist, i'd build them instead

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@danellisona finally stop posting on x

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@VadimStrizheus quality vs quantity? curious how overall performance looks across the amount of content posted at one time

[Nick @guybuildingapps]

@akoskm showing up until rc receipts show up for you ✅
