@BenGrahamUK The answer is in the question. They have been “running” car parks, not owning them. Leasing costs, electricity costs, employment costs have all gone up whilst usage since Covid has gone down. It was very successful in the days of Gosling but is now owned by a huge organisation
@JeremyClarkson Can I just say your column in @thesundaytimes_ this morning is brilliant. Your new hobby could be running the country. You would be a great improvement on the current Jodrells.
@paullewismoney It really is simple. My Volvo EV does about 3miles per KWh. Charge at home I pay 7.5p per kWh so it costs me 2.5p a mile. If I charge at a rapid charger it costs me 47p a kWh (Volvo card). So it’s c.15p a mile. Far cheaper than an ICE car. And my car is full every morning.
@brianofipswich@QuentinWillson@Evuk Put your car on charge. Go to the toilet, buy a coffee, check your phone for emails and messages….. car is now 80% full. Easy.
@englandislost @afneil Britain and France the only countries who have publicly said they will put troops on the ground in the Ukraine. So he was relating to France or Britain. And we fought alongside USA in Afghanistan and Iraq.
@JamesMelville James, we are designing and manufacturing the steel structures for solar car parks here in the uk. If anyone has a car park which they think could be used just ask.
