Today's political lesson...
When a fly falls into a cup of coffee.
The Italian – throws the cup, breaks it, and walks away in a fit of rage.
The German – carefully washes the cup, sterilises it and makes a new cup of coffee.
The Frenchman – takes out the fly and drinks the coffee.
The Chinese – eats the fly and throws away the coffee.
The Russian – drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge.
The Israeli – sells the coffee to the Frenchman, sells the fly to the Chinese, sells the cup to the Italian, drinks a cup of tea, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee.
The Palestinian - blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of tea to the Palestinian so there will be peace.
Please consider just how racist such a statement is towards black people!
You're suggesting that black people cannot be successful without aggressive state intervention.
Truth is that the black middle class would've been much bigger if there was more freedom in the market.
So after one journalist is doxxed and their lives threatened @News24 wants to talk genocide.
When we speak out against the Kill the Boer song and talk about farm murders we are ridiculed by them and labelled “right-wing extremists”.
You can’t make this up…
Most domestic recycling efforts are empirically retarded, counterproductive, and require you don't value your time. Their real function is to fill the God-shaped hole, sized for penance, prayer, and sacrifice, in people's souls. https://t.co/T77DAx1eve
There is no genocide in Gaza. The people are not the target. Hamas is the target.
There would be no destruction in Gaza if not for October 7, and there would be far fewer casualties if Hamas terrorists fought like men, instead of starting a war by gunning down civilians and then hiding behind their own like cowards.
And it would have ended a long time ago had they cared about the cost of their refusal to release the hostages and surrender. But they don't care. They care far less about their own children than Israel does, which is why they have children carry their weapons through the streets, knowing Israel will abort their strikes when children are in view.
Trinity affirms one God in undivided essence shared by three coeternal persons, not separate creators or parts. Jesus is the eternal Son, not a created being (John 1:1-3). Deut 6:4's echad denotes compound unity, as in Gen 2:24. This upholds monotheism without polytheism or partialism.
@jonathanccadams Yes. Based on the biblical record and historical evidence for the empty tomb and post-resurrection appearances, I affirm that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead.
@cb_doge SA: "You cannot operate Starlink here without us owing 30% of SpaceX"
Elon: "In that case, go f*** yourself"
SA: "Wait wait wait... we change our mind, just hear us out, what if you own 70% ?"
30 South Africans were murdered in mass shootings last night in South Africa.
And yet South Africans are spending their energy trying to decampaign South Africans in the United States, trying to advocate against murder, pretending there's nothing wrong
Do you see how this works when you're stupid?
People are dying brutally in this country.
Kids have lost parents.
Husbands lost wives.
Families lost fathers.
Yet South Africans seem to be more concerned about the political correctness of it all, instead of bringing about change.
The how or why is barely as important as the fact that it's happening.
your skills aren't just useful when inheriting a vibe-coded ball of mud. Our company's codebase is 10 years old having gone through many refactors, many tech leads each bringing their own flair, and many fundamental changes to core features. Implementation is hell, even without AI. But research, wayfinder, grill-with-docs and improve-codebase-architecture ... oh hell, just /ask-matt helped establish domain language and documentation that has brought a lot of consistency and sanity back.
I especially liked using "/wayfinder our end goal is not to implement anything, I just want to understand how xxxxxx works in this repo" which, with that combination of grilling and research was awesome.
