@AndyStaples Would love to hear yall start a conversation about how this playoff is perfectly constructed for the conference landscape that existed in the late 80s/early 90s when all teams played each other and that determined the champion.
Whatโs going on with all these college football players talking about Jesus?
I had a great conversation with @BenjaminSWatson about that question, and about how Christians should respond.
Lots of wisdom dropped. Check out his thoughts and perspective:

@revruck Iโll admit I donโt mind it at one level. Iโm more annoyed at how un-self aware celebrities are about singing a dystopian godless anthem. But that sentence probably could have ended at โun-self aware celebrities.โ
@SECNetwork@BenjaminSWatson@TexasFootball It feels weird to hear SEC Network carry Texasโ water here. The horns were able to out-talent a team in double OT after being outclassed and then getting bailed out by the refs in regulation.
Steve Sarkisian had a simple explanation for why he didn't want the Longhorns' giant flag planted at midfield or his players celebrating on the Aggies logo: He watched Michigan-Ohio State in his hotel room. https://t.co/2KBPRIzjXv via @houstonchron
Biggest winner of this college football season thus far?
Texas A&M fans.
They staged a public revolt to not hire Mark Stoops, and it worked. Now, they have a good shot at making the playoff heading into November.
Kentucky with Stoops? A dumpster fire.
Endurance sport is mental training.
You are alone in your head for long periods of time with ever increasing levels of discomfort. You have a concrete goal that half your mind is screaming to abandon.
You repeat this day after day and have no option but to figure it out.
