Just because you're not smart enough to understand WAR doesn't mean its not a good stat.

Every MLB stadium needs 2 camera angles. One for LHP and one for RHP. Sick of not seeing LHP pitches properly because its at an angle catered more towards seeing righties stuff.

[NWS Tornado @NWStornado]

Tornado Warning continues for Screven County, GA until 3:15 PM EDT

@UncleJsWildRide @borikwaa The guy multiple times not only disregarded injured opponents but insulted one literally said "fk him" about a guy on the ground in pain and blames Ohtani for a passed ball that was clearly his fault he lacks basic human empathy a 5 year old would have. Hes a terrible person.

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@UncleJsWildRide @borikwaa Youre winning with Dalton R*shing who may be the single most despicable human being to put on a MLB uniform in 50 years 😭

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@MissYankee Why is he irrelevant? Because he retired? But hes saying the same stuff you praised CC for 2 tweets ago?

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@OpenedCreation We had him and got squashed like a bug in the WS
No single player is saving this team we need new manager, GM, (and owner tbh) and a complete roster redo built around Cam and Rice.

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@DarthEnvy Arraez, Lowe for 2B
Jeffers for C
We wont upgrade at third but literally anyone would be one.

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@whs1243 @SweetPea1636 @nut_history How did he cheat? By using steroids? Which werent against MLB rules at the time? And MLB had full knowledge of players using? And allowed? To save the sport because it was in a bad place in the aftermath of 1994? Not cheating if its not against the rules. Which it wasn't.

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@BronxBmbrz Yanke* stadium next

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@BigBillyMazza @nomorefielders The most you offer a player just to keep them on the team for sentimental reasons is a 1 year contract to end their career. You dont hand out 5+ year 100 million dollar+ contracts for sentimental reasons. Maybe thats a part of it but big contracts are meant to improve the team...

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@BigBillyMazza @nomorefielders Yeah the Cardinals should've payed Pujols his contract was amazing!
Nats should've payed Rendon his contract was great!
Big contracts can turn out very badly if you spend them wrong. A wrong reason would be "because he's like a fan favorite and like they'll be sad"

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@J0n1910 @BetancesFan @JLas43_ Sub .500 300M team talking trash to literally anyone even like Rockies fans is such an insane concept.

[JL @JLas43_]

Mets fans have been out of it since May lol have some shame 😂

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@SleeperYankees I would like it but no
As many changes as possible to the roster the better.

[JL @JLas43_]

These people just don’t get it and they never will

[Thomas Nestico @TJStats]

Freddie Freeman and Buster Posey both won an MVP and the rest of the players are multi-time All-Stars who had impactful careers

Analytics would agree that these players were valuable. The "eye-test" and analytics are not opposing stances -- they supplement one another

[AT @BaseballWRLD_]

The last time the White Sox clinched a postseason series at home (1906):

- There were 45 states
- Babe Ruth wouldn’t debut for 8 years
- Theodore Roosevelt was president
- New Balance and the NCAA were founded
- The first Ford Model T hadn’t been sold
- The NBA, NFL and NHL didn’t exist
- The Titanic hadn’t been built
- The US population was 85 million

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@CameronMaybin "We have to value players not the numbers on a screen" *proceeds to name players who all had excellent careers all with great statistics which are...numbers on a screen.

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@yankeefancanada @_Moti_x @Vivahardduck @nut_history Ok but I dont think Ronald was gambling in the 1940s

[Gavin @gvh2727]

@nut_history Yes guys promoting a gambling site and actively participating in gambling in games you are managing/playing in are the exact same thing!

[Evil Empire @octoberstanton]

How the Yankees Rays series would have went if MLB was ethical
