@Strickomaster I don’t understand why secondary and primary schools have to be so different. We discuss this w/ students and give them trust-always letting them go. No passes…just one at a time. No issues with truancy or vandilism. Is the secondary model flawed if it can’t enable such trust?

@WhistleblowingT School leaders should and do a lot to ensure that teachers have the right amount of directed time so if yours is not right then it would be best to speak to them about it I’d say.

@brassoteach None! There’s so much rich learning that happens in all areas through writing, reading and drawing and note making in primary. It would be a shame to lose that in any area.

@jonnywalker_edu Drug raid on a house backing on to our school field! All I saw was armed (plain clothes) cops on the field just before the bell. Needless to say i delayed opening the door. Apparently someone forgot to warn the school. I won’t say which borough... absolutely mad!
