Feel like your position on whether Hiroshima was justified changes depending on how much you know about the war in the Pacific:
Don't know much - seems bad, but Japanese were bad?
Know some - seems awful, unjustified war crime.
Know more - terrible, but ultimately justifiable
Learning about Hiroshima in America, the propaganda didnβt get to me, and I was in class saying βthat was too muchβ arguing with classmates and even the teacher about it being βthe only wayβ to stop WW2 and I just knew that was bullshit. And it was. It was just American barbarism
@Fantasy4theAges I'm about halfway through the crippled god and dust of dreams leads directly into it - I think as Erikson has said they are basically two halves of one big book. Happy reading!
If the #Witcher4 follows recent gaming trends a custom character would be the protagonist. This might be best to avoid the multiple endings of 3, but you could also have Ciri as the lead with different prologues depending on the ending you chose
@HFLane_writing I submitted to you recently and you asked for partial manuscript - I appreciate you taking a look at my book (I realise it is a very competitive business)
@BookSpotlight I read Dune, then Dune Messiah a while later - didn't really care for the way they were written. Is it heresy to admit I like the (new) films more?
Which is of course why it took the West 400+ years to do anything about it. Anachronistic and not what the first crusaders were thinking. Most people in 1090s would not have had a sense of scale of early Muslim conquest.
Bad history breeds bad opinions
The money involved in American elections is insane - almost double what a UK political party is allowed to spend in an entire election campaign (Β£35m / $45m)
