Interesting day to get a notice the entire family seems to have failed SIR!

Also the local official says that Passport plus PAN plus Adhaar is still not sufficient to prove that we can vote. He says other documents will be required - such as school leaving certificates!

Is this common? I’m not sure how most people will get through this process.

In a true democracy the courts would take suo motu notice of the exposé in @IndianExpress about the way the Election Commission of India is being run and would have stopped the #SIR till such time the objections raised by the two election commissioners were not clarified.

Most middle class people say this is taxation without representation. Even if they have Aadhaar cards, PAN cards &
Passports they still don’t have a right to vote.
The fact that so many of us have received notices from the EC proves that the govt & its stooges believe that when it comes to robbing us blind with taxes the government regards us as Indians
But when it comes to choosing politicians at elections we are foreigners until we prove otherwise.
And then passports, PAN cards & Aadhar cards are suddenly not enough to prove we are Indian.

SAVE TRIBAL KIDS OF BALAGHAT

I am still in Balaghat, meeting the families of the KIDS who have died.

What I am hearing from locals is deeply disturbing. They say the actual number of deaths is much higher than what is being officially reported (36).

86 children have been hospitalised recently after the tribals’ protest.

I have also been told that children are being cremated without postmortems, and in some cases, even in absence of parents. SDM is the one who is behind all this.

These children could’ve been saved had they received treatment on time.
