Farage got 46% in Clacton in 2024. He is only opposed now by Count Binface, meaning anyone who dislikes Farage or votes for any other party is represented by Binface. Given that Binface is a joke candidate - much as Trump was perceived of before the GOP primaries in 2016 - and that they just voted for him 2 years ago, it's possible that voting burnout and perceptions of him running unopposed may stymie Reform voter participation. Meanwhile, everyone else - the other 54% - are motivated to vote only for Binface. I don't think he will win, but it is within the realm of plausibility, and that really is the funniest possible outcome. Therefore, I support Count Binface fully. This is the grandest demonstration of the nonseriousness of democratic politics in recent memory, particularly considering this is only happening as a bolster to Farage's ego. This backfiring on Farage so badly that he loses his seat to Count Binface is the funniest thing imaginable, and therefore, the best.
I also agree with him that the 99 Flake should never be more than 99p. That's just smart policy.
