All things were made through God the Son - the heavens, the earth and everything in them. God the Son then came to earth as man and subjected Himself to His own law. No one can claim God does not understand what it's like to be human. He reveals all these things in the Bible.
@SuitSheep There are probably many churches where this happens. It's not a formal question and answer, but anyone can approach him. He is hired by elders, who themselves are selected by a God-fearing congregation. I would never go to a church where the preacher is inaccessible.
@drakesmith__ My home course has taught me this time and again! Most greens there are uphill, front to back. My default for them is to bias my misses short for an uphill chip. Being long means minimum two, but probably three putt. That mindset also travels well.
@drakesmith__ So true. My best contact by far happens when I'm target focused. I think it releases conscious mechanical swing control to the central nervous system. If I focus on any particular thing, something else always suffers. The CNS knows how to align swing arc if it knows the target.
@MrEncouragement@mattnjas_RN4L@SwordMasterPub No, he absolutely is not. And if you believe Paul the apostle was going about wilfully sinning, there's no use in continuing this discussion.
@MrEncouragement@mattnjas_RN4L@SwordMasterPub That’s what I asked you? It seems to me you think a believer can willfully sin and be saved. The Bible plainly teaches that is not true. I need not spend time showing you where. It’s all over the Bible.
@MrEncouragement@mattnjas_RN4L@SwordMasterPub I subject myself to God’s commands. When I notice I’m breaking one, I stop. I don’t try to find a technicality so I can excuse what I’m doing and keep doing it. Rejecting baptism after being made aware God commanded it is willful. Getting angry with your mother isn’t the same.
@MrEncouragement@mattnjas_RN4L@SwordMasterPub That was a yes or no. I didn’t say the imperfect. I said willfully disobedient. The command is in plain language. Making an excuse in lieu obedience is willful. I haven’t widened anything.
@MrEncouragement@mattnjas_RN4L@SwordMasterPub I said OBEDIENCE is required for salvation. Baptism is commanded. Do you believe the willfully disobedient are saved? Simple question. Yes or no? This is the issue. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with earning anything or with “works” for salvation. Obedience is NOT work.
@MrEncouragement@mattnjas_RN4L@SwordMasterPub I invite you to show me where I said anything about earning salvation. I surely didn’t and wouldn’t. Obedience does not earn salvation. But disobedience can most certainly result in the forfeiting of it. The willfully disobedient are not saved, no matter what they “believe.”
