Can you be sure Jesus knows you? It’s an important question, and He gives the answer. First, we must hear Him—and the Bible is the only place to “hear Him.” Second, are we doing what He says? If we know what He commands, we can answer this question easily. #RestInJesusNow
This is why being in the Word of God every day is so crucial. A good minister is valuable, but only Jesus can guide you in choosing one wisely. Your minister cannot answer whether you’re doing what Jesus says. Jesus may know your minister, but He won’t know you through them. You are accountable to Him directly.
Passionate theological discussions are enjoyable, but they rarely help us obey Jesus’ words. Christians are at different levels of understanding. What matters is obeying what you’ve understood as Jesus’ commands. Hearing others tell you what to do theologically is unhelpful unless you run it by scripture first.
Many of Jesus’ commands are clear and need no debate. Focus on obeying what you already understand before worrying about commands you don’t yet grasp. Count the ones you know—this is how you can know if Jesus knows you.
Start today by taking stock of what you know for sure Jesus has commanded you. No one is 100% perfect in obeying what they already understand. Focus on those things first. What do you need to work on?

When the Israelites camped at Mt. Sinai, God brought water from a rock to sustain 2M people for 11 months. The world can never satisfy thirst for truth and life. But here, God promises Jesus, our true Rock, will give endless lifegiving water to those who seek Him. #RestInJesusNow

The Creator’s power and majesty is seen not just in the sun and moon’s precision to sustain life, but in their beauty—art designed to inspire awe. Only humanity, whom God made in His image, can marvel at this wonder and worship the One who made it all. Praise Him! #RestInJesusNow
Christ’s work on the cross didn’t acquit us—we’re guilty as charged. A just God couldn’t overlook the penalty for sin. Yet He loved us so much, He laid aside His divinity to pay that penalty.
All He asks is that you believe. #RestInJesusNow

Will you be worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the living God, with the brothers and sisters of the kingdom today? No matter when or where you worship, if you believe He is your Lord, praise His holy name! Make it known. Every day. God bless! #RestInJesusNow

In Exodus 6, God affirms His covenant with Abraham after 430 years of silence. Only through Israel could the world know God until Jesus, 1,500 years later. God blessed the world with His presence through both Israel and then Jesus, the seed of Abraham as promised. #RestInJesusNow
What is often overlooked is that many promises of God, which Moses wrote about, weren’t fulfilled until well after he died. We must remember that Moses never saw Israel in the Promised Land and certainly never saw families of the earth blessed by Abraham’s seed. He could not have written from hindsight, but only by the divine foreknowledge of God Himself. We are blessed to witness those glorious promises fulfilled.
God’s foreshadowing of the Gospel through the Exodus is also a promise, which cannot be realized except in hindsight. These are demonstrated promises fulfilled; reasons to believe beyond any doubt that God’s revelations and promises are true. What promises has He made to you? Do you believe them?
The amazing foreknowledge of God! Much more to come!

There are many who deny that Jesus is God when John 1 states it plainly. First thing, John establishes that the Word is a person – He – and that He is both God, meaning He was not created, and is a separate being from God (“with God”), as in the God the Son. #RestInJesusNow
How can this be?
That Jesus is a separate being from God and is also God? Does the Bible confirm this elsewhere? Yes, it does. In many places. Can you point to where it does?
Does Jesus claim it? Do the Pharisees affirm this assertion that Jesus is God? Do they like it? For what purpose do they seek to crucify Him? (John 5:18; 19:7)

Want to know Jesus but unsure how to? In humble prayer, lay your worries and guilt at His feet. Ask forgiveness. Then listen to Him. Start with the Gospel of John. Don’t worry about what you don't understand. In faith, obey what you do understand. #RestInJesusNow
Then be amazed at what He does.

The God of Abraham and Isaac extends his promise to Jacob in Genesis 28:13-15, narrowing Christ’s lineage further at a place called Bethel. The odds Moses (or whoever wrote Genesis) could predict this 1,400 years before are staggering (1 in about 11.3 million). #RestInJesusNow
This knowledge is foundational to reasoned faith. When your faith is weak or challenged, remember God's fulfilled promises. You've already tread this ground now. You need only remember it. Then remember His promises to you, knowing you can trust Him completely.
The Messianic promise by God is that all the families of the earth will be blessed through Abraham’s, Isaac’s, and Jacob’s offspring – the Messiah – the Seed of woman (Gen 3:15). God will narrow the lineage one more time through Moses, which we will get to tomorrow. Then he won’t do this again until David.
At Bethel, Jacob was running from Esau, his brother who sought to kill him. As he was sleeping there in the wilderness, Jacob dreamed about the ladder to heaven (Jacob’s Ladder).
