@Coach_Wilhelm@DougBurgum Lives completely change, and people are dying alone because that’s the reality of this virus. Being an graduated collegiate athlete, I understand the heart break of when things are over. Medically, it’s an entirely different tune with and entirely different outcome.
@Coach_Wilhelm@DougBurgum I 100% understand the frustrations of limitations and missing out on things. However, until witnessing mostly healthy individuals completely tank, become vent dependent, and medically paralyzed (I work ICU), you’ll rethink how valuable a sport is at this time.. hospitals are full
To the person/people who tore through my car yesterday in the Deer Ridge underground parking lot (supposedly secure), I hope you actually needed what you took from my car.
Lesson learned: not leaving things of value in my car again.
Goes to show not everyone is a nice person.
I’m such a nonchalant friend. You bail on plans? Cool. You would rather hang out with your man? Great! You haven’t talked to me for 3 weeks? Fantastic. At the end of the day we all have our own lives, I’m always gonna be here.
Someone asked me, “when do you know it’s time to let someone go”
I responded, when I gave all of me, to the point there was no more to give. when they didn’t question when I became distant. when all the chasing trying to prove my love—when they decided not to chase me back.
Was told today that ‘self care is the biggest middle finger’ and I couldn’t agree more. Here’s to being healthier physically, mentally and emotionally 💪🏼
