The goal is to describe the world as it is. Descriptive epidemiology can be about hypotheses generation. Beautiful visualization doesn’t mean they are trustworthy. But people are more likely to believe it

We can describe complex information using visualizations. Amazing visualization of what people do with their time. Massive amount of descriptive information. Or heartbeat days from Apple Watch for three people over time.
