but then again i guess i partly get what OP is saying bc i try to not like solely play video games for the entire day and i try to sprinkle it w some "productivity" (meal prep, checking in on friends, catching up on errands etc)
i don't know what games you guys play that make you feel like this bc when i play the games i *love* it feels akin to reading/finishing a good book/movie/etc
fwiw though i think ive been taking decent steps in building a good life for *me*, and this is me operating off of my idea of a good life (that i'm still in the process of fleshing out)
this leave rly taught me the discernment between knowing what i want vs what i was conditioned to want (by academia, society at large, etc)
and ifl it's extending to my socmed use bc i think i'm at a place na i personally like naman and i'm being convinced otherwise online
+ a lot of things in this world sound more glamorous than they actually are so a lot of decisions you may make in the thick of it may not make sense to others, and there's this stronger sense of self you'll feel once you accept that. nobody else has to understand
