For those outside SF wondering wtf is going on with that vid of Scott Wiener being confronted at Dolores Park:
It’s not that complicated. The person who confronted Scott is a notorious serial harasser. He’s belligerent, hostile, and he just did Scott a big favor.
@benryanwriter This has been going on for years. And he's likely to soon win the race to be our congressional rep, and of course many of these folks wanted one of the other candidates in the primary and still want the other candidate in November.
This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious.
Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal. https://t.co/72wxaVLzVT
You paid for a plane with "a level of luxury that nobody has never seen before". And he's apparently taking it with him once he leaves the White House.
The plane. The ballroom. The corruption. This guy thinks taxpayers are dopes. Your money is just his to live a life of luxury.
.@jamestalarico: Ken Paxton let a pedophile back onto our streets. Adam Hoffman, an admitted child molester, should have served 25 years to life in prison, but instead he served less than 29 days, and that's because Ken Paxton gave him an Epstein-style sweetheart deal. Adam Hoffman didn't even have to register as a sex offender in Texas after admitting to molesting a child, an 8 year old boy.
And so that's why today I called on Ken Paxton to release the Hoffman files, all text messages, all emails, internal memos, all documents relating to the Hoffman case, so that Texans can get their questions answered about this corrupt deal.
The Epstein class has no place in Texas, and if there's one thing that we can all still agree on, Democrats, independents, and Republicans alike, it's that no one, including the Attorney General of Texas, should be able to cover up crimes against children.
The Justice Department quietly deleted thousands of press releases about the Jan. 6 insurrection
So Lawfare restored them: more than 5,700 pages recovered and publicly archived.

The retired federal judges are urging court to plow ahead w/ investigation of Trump's slush fund & his sweetheart deal with IRS
"At issue here are the parties’ extraordinary actions: an obviously collusive suit; an unprecedented, clearly unwarranted settlement premised on the supposed legitimacy of that suit"
Opinion: San Francisco liberals howled when Trump tried to silence Kaepernick. Now they want to do the same thing to four pitchers they disagree with.

The White House was built to serve the American people.
Tonight it was used to promote a company the President owns stock in, sell subscriptions, promote corporate sponsors, push Trump crypto, and enrich the President and his family.
The founders warned us about kings enriching themselves from public office.
They did not fight a revolution for this.
“I think I’m greedy, but I’m not greedy for money – I think that can be a burden…I can find excitement, I admit, in raindrops falling on a puddle and a lot of people wouldn’t. I intend to have it exciting until the day I fall over.”

Platner: The national pundits, the political establishment, they keep looking for that one story, that one headline, that one moment in my life that they can define the campaign by. But in trying so hard to understand me, they failed to understand that this is not about me at all.
This is a movement about us.

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
