First mockup of the habit app I'm building. Every habit you tick off earns something for the room/garden, where your animal companion lives. No streaks to lose, and you pay once.
@ZheyuLiu I like the sound of this! I want the app to work offline so matching the real weather might be tricky, but snow in the winter could go off the date. Thanks for the idea ๐
Clocks go back soon so it'll be dark by 5. Got me wondering if the window in the starter room should follow the real time of day, sunset in the evening, stars at night?
@BrightWillowDev That jump in 1 day is crazy! I've started doing some pixel art for the first time a few days ago and I can't say I got anywhere near to that ๐ Would be great to see a rough version of the bright tree next
@analshaju_ I've always preferred looking at my progress over a longer period. I feel like so many apps just do it by days but having it by week or month feels way more meaningful
@iRandeepRana Building a habit app while being rubbish at habits seems to be a rite of passage, I'm in the same boat. Good luck with day 4, hopefully the app gets the credit
@DevAfter5 This is pretty much why every tracker I've downloaded lasted about a week. If ticking things off feels like a chore on top of the actual habit it's not going to stick.
@ChrisInPublic Which platform did you run the ads on? And roughly what did 80 users work out at? I'm building for Android first too, so I'm wondering whether it's worth it just for early feedback.
@analshaju_ Looks really clean, that dark progress card is a nice touch. Is the full history still in there somewhere for people who like looking back?
