@J19855167Ryan@Despiro7@kalebjackson00 You got it all figured out, eh? Everyone's a degenerate but you. Sounds like someone needs some therapy and a Zoloft prescription. People are lonely because the economy is a mess and community spaces are gone, not because some women are making money on OnlyFans.
@J19855167Ryan@Despiro7@kalebjackson00 You're the one centering men by making this about what men do. The point is that women are cutting out the male studio executives and making money directly. That's economic power.
@J19855167Ryan@EvanOfTheDesert@kalebjackson00 Nobody changed their stance. The point is that adult women have agency. You're the one trying to have it both ways, acting like men are helpless victims of a 'pornified society' while demanding women take accountability for their own choices. Pick a lane.
@tjephtah199@kalebjackson00 I didn't make it up. You just proved my point. You're bringing up traditional porn stars who are mad at OnlyFans creators for 'not doing enough.' That's literally the exact same judgmental gatekeeping I was talking about. They're mad someone else found a way to get the bag.
Still think henchman 21 an brock Clashing was the coolest shit, seeing 21βs character arch come full circle to fight the person he once feared an actually putting up a fight is so fucking rad. (Fight scenes in the venture bros are amazing when they wanna do them)
You sound like a 12 year old. This movie came out in 1999. You need to learn to deal with reality. Nobody 'destroyed' the franchise, the prequels were just heavily flawed, and people criticized them. If a movie from 25 years ago still has you this pressed and blaming 'you people' for ruining kids' Star Wars, you need to step outside.
Yes, he did. In a 2013 interview, he said he was "tired of critics and fans who believed heβd mishandled the Star Wars saga," specifically referencing the prequels being "scorned." He stated, "Iβll be kind of happy to leave a lot of that criticism and personal attacks behind". He also told The New York Times in 2012, "Why would I make any more, when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?".
The problem with prequel defenders is that you guys live in a total echo chamber. You're completely disconnected from reality.

That Gallup poll was taken right as people walked out of the theater after waiting 16 years for a new Star Wars movie. They were running on pure adrenaline and nostalgia. The fact that Jar Jar Binks is rated above Obi-Wan Kenobi in that poll tells you everything you need to know about how critically they were thinking.
And your 'millions is a small number' argument is hilarious. Millions is still millions. The fact that you're clinging to an opening-weekend poll to dismiss the massive, decades-long backlash just proves you have no actual argument.
The backlash was immediate. There were entire websites dedicated to hating Jar Jar Binks in 1999, and the actor Ahmed Best was harassed to the point of considering suicide. People were ripping the prequels apart before the credits even rolled on Episode I. This isn't social media revisionism; it's just history.
As an older millennial that was a teenager for these movies, I do not remember anybody saying the prequels sucked at the time.
That was social media revisionism by nerdy edgelords on social media 10 years later.
Episode I is a masterpiece (and Empire is still my favorite)
You literally said it yourself: 'And while yes, not every single person who says they sucked tried to harass someone.'
You admitted right there that your own 'Venn diagram is a circle' claim is complete bullshit. You literally stated that not everyone who criticized the movies was an obsessive hater. Then, five tweets later, you claimed that every prominent critic is an obsessive fanboy.
If you're going to piss and moan about something, take the time to read your original comment and see how you've strayed from the path. You set up a strawman that everyone who dislikes the prequels is a deranged psychopath, I called it out, and you just confirmed I was right in your very first reply. Your Venn diagram is a circle only in your head, buddy.
I saw it when I was 17 and loved it. Watched it in my early 20s and realized the acting and dialogue were terrible. But I still throw it on every once in a while. I think everyone has a movie like that. It's like eating a gas station hot dog; you know it's bad, but it hits the spot.
All prequel praise seems to boil down to, "Yes the acting is bad and the directing is bad and the dialogue is bad and the story isn't well-told, but the IDEAS are good."
Buddy, don't trauma dump on me. Save that for the therapist you should have seen in 1999. You're doing Olympic-level mental gymnastics to try and justify why millions of people were wrong and you're right. You're so desperate to defend a movie that you're literally using my own words to try and invent a fake statistic about '10% evil psychos.' It's genuinely pathetic.
You're bringing up The People vs. George Lucas? That documentary was made by a handful of obsessive fans with a weird entitlement complex. They don't represent the millions of people who just thought the prequels had bad dialogue. You're taking the absolute fringe and pretending they speak for everyone. Stop it.
@TheDavidHasbun You can call it a 'caste system of wealth' all you want, but the text you sent says the exact opposite of what you think it does. And pivoting to 'he's part of a different occult group' without a shred of evidence is just you throwing spaghetti at the wall.
