Great weekend at Florida ACC! Excellent education, inspiring research, and an introduction to the future of cardiology (like AI in cardiology ☄️)
I was honored to share a case of an Ao-RV fistula with @BradMoney6 and interact with our incredible cardiology community at FLACC

Lots of interesting #clinicaltrial results here at #ESCCongress for the #heartfailure world. A quick 🧵on those I felt were the most interesting & impactful...
EP conference with @DrJCheungEP on inherited arrhythmias. QTc in normal and long QT syndrome patients are along a normal distribution. 25-50% of patients with documented LQTS 1, 2, and 3 can have resting QTc < 460. Therefore, normal QTc does not rule out long QT syndrome. #EPeeps
1/7 Here is a little explanation of my tweet yesterday… This patient’s CT shows polycystic kidney disease (PKD). PKD patients may also have liver cysts, which in this case, are contributing to this patient’s hepatomegaly.
6/7 There are others who continue to prescribe ACEi with close monitoring in the outpatient setting. There is definitely a need to further investigate the use of ACEs and ARBs in this patient population!
