Imagine sacrificing your values to please your fiancé and his family to the extent of agreeing to get pregnant before marriage because his family insisted, only to find out that he has been treating himself for HIV without telling you.
This is exactly what happened to me…
Ahh 😭💔 25 days now... 46 children and teachers are still trapped in the forest, far away from their homes and loved ones, with little or no hope in sight.
For 25 painful days, their families have lived in fear, uncertainty, and endless prayers. Those children should be in classrooms, laughing and learning, not struggling with fear, hunger, exhaustion, and trauma in the wilderness.
May they return home safely, and may their families find relief from this nightmare. 💔🙏🏽
Let's keep reposting aggressively. We can't just move on and act like nothing happened. 💔🙏🏽😓
This call record between the victim & her family is 💔💔 Imagine her mum being a widow and a civil servant, where will they get N40m from?
She has been given just 5 days and they don’t even have up to 1m yet
Janet Dairo was kidna pped on a bus from Akure to Ilorin earlier this week. There are lots of cases like this that couldn’t make it to SM.
People are getting kidna pped on a daily basis and it keeps getting worse.

WHY ARE THE CHILDREN STILL IN CAPTIVITY?
Let me tell you the horrible part of it.
Initially, I thought they were armed robbers because I never thought kidnappers operated on that road. There were about 35 of them or more, all armed with AK-47s. I’m not even exaggerating. Two of them approached me after I’ve stopped and asked for money and my phone, which I gave them.
I thought they were going to take whatever they wanted and leave or shoot me. But instead, they told me to get up and walk in front of them. They gathered all the victims (from both private and commercial vehicles), including me. As I mentioned earlier, we were close to 40 people.
They marched us into the forest, and we started walking. It was around 9 a.m. or so. We walked and walked. We walked for about 24 hours.
At one point, I got a muscle pull and couldn’t move but they pointed the gun at me and said if I don’t move they’ll shoot me and leave me behind. I remembered how they shot a guy because he said he was sick and couldn’t move. I chinned up and got up immediately. We finally reached their destination around 7am the next day.
It was in the middle of nowhere in the forest. They kidnapped us around Gegu just after or before koto, I can’t remember but the forest we trekked in took us to Nasarawa state.
How I knew, we came across a settlement in the forest with a small government primary school. That’s where I saw a Nasarawa state serial code on it. Though there was no one there, these boko haram have chased them away and burnt down their homes.
We were all exhausted and tired, but as soon as we got there, they lined us up and took us one by one to the front of their boss. He’ll ask you how much do you think your family can afford to pay as ransom.
That was how we all received the first welcome flogging and beating of our lives. Because once he asked you that question, no matter what amount you say, fact is it doesn’t have to be an unreasonable amount, you will still be flogged. This beating is not child’s play, this beating is military grade, with very think sticks.
I was scared when it was my turn. Even before the question, they were already beating and flogging me. He asked me, and out of fear, I said 2 million 😭😭😭. Not less than three of them were on me, beating and flogging me 😭😭. They said, “How dare you?” They told me to look at my skin, my car, and my phones and I have the audacity to say 2M. The boss told one of them to shoot me and just kill me because I wasn't serious and was wasting their time. I was crying like a baby, begging for my life. Meanwhile, we were just getting started. This was just the first day. 🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️
[(I’ll cont) it’s not easy]
It is my kid sister’s birthday 🎂 and another year to thank God for life. Alhamdulillah.
I can never forget June 10; this was the day I was kidnapped. God used my lovely 🥰 sister to give me another reason to live. Her incoming call was the reason why that bullet missed my forehead by a few inches. I would’ve been a dead man even before the kidnappers got to me.
I was leaving Lokoja for Abuja that morning. I was already packed, and my luggage was in the trunk. Just before I fired up the car to hit the road, I decided to call my sister to wish her a happy birthday 🎂 and to tell her I was on my way back to Abuja. Unfortunately, she didn’t pick up the phone 📱, so I started my journey.
A friend had called me the day before, asking if I could give two of his colleagues a lift to Abuja, and I said, why not? I’m driving alone. His colleagues are ladies.
I called them that morning to let them know I was ready to leave and would pass by to pick them up. But guess what? For some reason, when I got there, the two ladies were seriously fighting and quarreling. I told them I didn’t have time and that they should get their act together so we could get going. But there was no sign of them settling, so I left without them. That fight saved them for real.
All this happened before 8:30 a.m. Remember, I called my sister to wish her a happy birthday, but she didn’t answer. I topped up my tank and finally hit the road.
A guy tried to stop me after Natako junction, probably because he was going to Abuja, but because of the speed I was on, by the time I saw him through my mirror, I was long gone. I drive fast but not recklessly. I love speed 😁.
I got to that military checkpoint on Murtala bridge, they checked and I passed. About 10mins after that checkpoint, was another Police checkpoint, and they stopped me and were like, oga anything for us bla bla bla… I was holding cash mints of 200 naira notes, so I just opened the armrest storage compartment and gave them 2K and I zoomed off.
Just like 5-10mins after, my phone started ringing and it was in the glove hole compartment under the car stereo. Just as I bent my head down a little to pick up the phone and check who was calling, I just heard a sound (pufffffff) that burst through my windshield, passed close to my head (inches away from my head) and bursted my door’s glass. And multiple gunshots followed. I was lucky no one hit me.
Long story short, my sister was the one calling back. Thank God she called, else that bullet would have blown up my head. 6 people were killed at that particular moment in other vehicles. If I had picked up that guy that was stopping me, he would’ve been dead, because two bullets penetrated the passenger’s seat.
I stopped my car, other vehicles stopped, the kidnappers gathered us and marched us into the forest. We were close to 40.
We saw hell for weeks till ransom was paid (don’t wanna go into details)
Sis I love you ❤️ always. And may Allah bless you with a healthy and productive long life. Happy birthday 🎂🎊🎁 once again.
This is exactly how we were flogged, beaten, and maltreated. Though this is not us in the video, these are the Abuja-Kaduna train victims.
But this is exactly how we sat and lay down. No difference whatsoever. These victims spent 3 months in captivity living this way, so you can imagine.
The experience is really terrible. As much as I try to be very detailed, there’s still more to my experience with this devils. But I’ll continue…, maybe much later. But for now this is my experience
