I have no way to know how one random thing is better than a similar cheaper random thing. I tried asking store assistants, and they usually don't know. So the only obvious difference is price.

@Frank_merc1999 @gavinortlund It seems that people assume that suffering itself is bad. Why? I see suffering as indication of evil, and evil as absence of goodness. So (simplified) I see hell as not worse than nonexistence, and the only difference is that, in hell, there may be someone to notice that.

@gavinortlund After reading the comments, I realize that “2+3=5” is not a good example of what you mean. I think that modus ponens is better. It connects a logical expression to the real world. I can rely on that “A→B” in a sound logic means that, if I have A, I have also B.

Mathematics relies on an objective basis to work, according to which, the definitions of the terms “2”, “+”, “3”, “=”, “5” lead to the truth of the statement “2+3=5”. Without that, nothing could be meaningfully inferred.
