📅Today is July 7, the day of Tanabata, also known as the Star Festival in Japan.

It is a traditional celebration when two stars, Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair), are said to meet across the Milky Way just once a year👩‍❤️‍👨

The couple is supposed to have their once-a-year date tonight — but only if the skies are clear. If it rains, the story goes that the Milky Way floods, keeping them apart, with their tears becoming part of the Milky Way too😭

But honestly, even the stars might cancel their date tonight.
Why?

It's because my living room reached 37°C (98.6°F) this afternoon, even with all the curtains closed and every window wide open.

That is literally human body temperature.
It felt like having a fever just sitting still🔥

If you are in Japan right now: Stay safe, stay hydrated, and please do not try to tough it out. This heat is no joke, guys😵
