Great lessons to retract from these few verses, the reward of implementing these characteristics is mentioned in ayah 136
May Allah grant us the patience & strength to reach the levels of Al Muhsineen through our actions ✨
Reminder that as the world watches the world cup, the actual world is burning.
Gaza is still being wiped out, with even the Egyptian representative who was organizing the watch parties murdered by Israel in what appears to be a sick form of retaliation for the coach of the national team holding up the flag and cause of Palestine at the world cup. Lebanon is still under attack and an expanding occupation. And another round of stupidity and recklessness of the Iran war is now going to lead to even more casualties. All along, so many of the African nations, even if represented on the field, carry the weight of generations of exploitation.
Just be careful not to let the spectacle make you forget the suffering, the silenced, and the systems that keep crushing them.
May Allah keep our hearts awake, our eyes open, and our actions guided. May He protect the innocent and oppressed all around, and make an example of their oppressors. Ameen
You made us all proud team Egypt 🇪🇬.
Got clearly cheated out of a goal, and overrun by FIFA corruption.
But hold your heads high like Coach Hossam held the flag of Palestine 🇵🇸.
They can’t VAR this.
Three men lost their lives on Monday protecting their community.
Amin Abdullah, the security guard and father of 8, stood in front of the gunmen so 140 children could hide.
Mansour Kaziha, a pillar of the mosque for nearly 40 years, called 911.
Nader Awad ran toward the danger to draw the shooters away.
They were fathers, husbands, pillars of their mosque. They chose others over themselves.
Our hearts are with their families and the entire Muslim community of San Diego.
Islamophobia kills. This is not a debate. It’s reality.

I barely see anyone talk about Lebanon and Palestine anymore. Southern Lebanon is in ruins. Palestine is in ruins. Please continue talking about them and spreading awareness about what’s happening.
Please get back to doing puzzles, sudoku, board games, crosswords, word search. Read long novels and watch long form videos.
Seeing my students and even my age-mates uncomfortable being cognitively unentertained is... something. We’re losing patience with thinking deeply.
Humility keeps you teachable.
Ego keeps you shackled.
Humility gives you the freedom to keep changing and growing into the best version of yourself.
Ego is a cage you build where you’re stuck defending a version of yourself that is indefensible.
You saw ICE murder a defenseless person on your screens. JD Vance called it a response to “classic terrorism.” Kristi Noem called it self-defense. This is exactly what Israel has done for decades, now you're seeing it at home.
It’s better to lose everything without losing yourself than to win anything by betraying your principles.
What you preserve while striving matters more than what you acquire by giving up your soul.
As Gaza fades from world headlines, Muslim scholar Omar Suleiman tells Al Jazeera that abandoning the Palestinian struggle now would repeat the very failures that enabled Israel’s genocide.
URGENT: The Sumud Flotilla has been attacked on international waters by Israeli drones. This on a day where Israel shut the border crossing from Jordan to the West Bank and murdered multiple civilians in Gaza. Will states stand by as civilian advocates of theirs are killed too?!
It’s weird to be told that in the name of harmony you must dialogue with someone who justifies exterminating your people. That you have to extend courtesy to genocide deniers in the name of civility.
I won’t be violent with you, but I won’t pretend you aren’t vile.
Excerpts from the Friday Sermon at Masjid Al-Haram,” delivered by Sheikh Dr. Yasir bin Rashid Ad Dawsary on 7th Safar 1447 AH:
“We are proud, praise be to Allah, that progress does not conflict with values, nor contradict principles; rather, it is built upon them and supported by them. So progress without a foundation is shaky, and advancement without morals is doomed to collapse.”
•Humanity today is witnessing a civilizational leap and a qualitative boom in the fields of artificial intelligence, smart devices, communication platforms, social media, and service systems. These technologies have facilitated many tasks and connected the world virtually, making it a part of our daily lives.
•The Ummah (nation) must benefit from these advancements. We live in a flourishing era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince—may Allah protect them. Our nation is progressing toward excellence by embracing advanced technologies.
•Yet, while technology is precise and efficient, human awareness may lag behind. Devices may move from being tools to becoming homes, and this is where the illness appears: unhealthy attachment to social media, excessive use, and immersion in a virtual world that never ends, leading some to withdrawal and isolation.
•It becomes a source of misinformation, distraction from knowledge, loss of time, and distraction from family and responsibilities. If left unchecked, our deeds may wither like dried leaves and fade without reward, an irreversible loss that will be accounted for on the Day of Judgment.
•The soul may become preoccupied with obedient acts done carelessly, while the person is drowning in sin and falsehood, unaware. False assumptions, baseless fears, and excessive anxiety feed off social media, breaking down resilience and peace of mind,
•Technology is a great blessing if guided toward goodness. But if misused, it turns into a double-edged sword, sharp and dangerous.
So use it wisely. If you’re not using it for good, it might be using you for harm.
6000 @UNRWA trucks waiting at the border to feed those hungry babies, those hungry mamas and babas, those hungry kittens on the street. 6000 trucks could feed them for three months. But your tax dollars won’t let that happen.
