@Snubs You may need to let the vinegar sit for a while if it is fully plugged up, then just run clean water through it a few times. I do this every few months as a preventative measure

@Snubs Have you tried running vinegar through it? If you have hard water, it might be calcium buildup in the heating element. I had that problem with a coffee maker before and that saved it

@intigriti The php docs says that getimagesize can return successfully if non-image files are provided. I think you can supply a gif polyglot that contains executable php code.
