@IsaiahINBI My broader point being; I cannot be certain that this institution is the truth when I see plain contradictions in front of my eyes, and therefore I can’t claim to be a Roman Catholic because I’d just be lying.

@IsaiahINBI …where it effectively is a complete reversal of two millennia of tradition and arguably even scriptural doctrine, I don't know if I can be certain about that. The former didn’t contradict prior teaching at all but the latter certainly does.
