In 1983, five old Red Army comrades meet at the famous building they had defended in Stalingrad, it became the legendary "Pavlov's house" after Junior Sergeant Yakov Pavlov

They held it for 60 days (roughly late September to 25 November 1942), repelling repeated German infantry and tank assaults, sometimes multiple times per day.

Rasputin: The Devil Who Refused to Die Even From the Cyanide , And Dhurandhar 2 Revived a Banned 1978 Song

The “Rasputin” track in Dhurandhar 2 isn’t just a song, it’s a powerful reference to one of history’s most mysterious and controversial figures. This Song was originally made in 70s and got banned in Russia

Grigori Rasputin, born in a small Siberian village in 1869, started as an uneducated peasant with a troubled life. Instead of imprisonment, a court ordered him to walk 523 kilometers to a distant church in Siberia, a punishment that turned into transformation.

After a life-changing spiritual journey, he returned as a mystic, gaining fame for his supposed healing powers. People claimed that with a mere touch or prayer, he could cure illnesses.

His biggest turning point came when he was called to treat Tsarevich Alexei, the son of Tsar Nicholas II, who suffered from hemophilia. When Rasputin appeared to improve the boy’s condition, he earned the complete trust of the royal family, especially Empress Alexandra.

Rasputin began influencing state decisions, military strategies, political appointments, and royal policies. His word carried weight even above ministers.

But with power came controversy.

Rumors spread across Russia:

He had inappropriate relationships with Multiple women, including those within aristocratic circles and then QUEEN.

"Ra Ra Rasputin, lover of the Russian Queen" lyrics of the song itself explains everything.

He possessed hypnotic control over people. He was called everything from a “holy healer” to a “mad monk.”

But outside the palace, Rasputin was seen very differently.

He was accused of manipulation, immoral behavior, and secretly controlling the empire. Many believed he had become too powerful, symbolizing the corruption and decline of the monarchy, fueling anger that later contributed to the Russian Revolution.

By 1916, Russia’s elite decided to eliminate him.

They poisoned him with cyanide twice, he didn’t die.

They shot him multiple times, he kept moving.

Finally, they threw him into an icy river.

The autopsy revealed the shocking truth: Rasputin died from drowning, meaning he was still alive after everything.

This turned him into a legend, a man who simply refused to die.

Even today, Rasputin remains a sensitive figure in Russia, often seen as a symbol of moral decay and political collapse. His portrayal in pop culture has faced backlash, including restrictions in the Soviet era.

That’s why Dhurandhar 2 using “Rasputin” is significant.

It represents a character who is powerful, mysterious, manipulative, and nearly impossible to destroy.

Not just a villain.

A force.

SUDDEN COOLING IN GREENLAND REDUCED SUMMER MONSOONS IN INDIA 8,200 YEARS AGO

Around 8,200 years ago, a drop in temperature in Canada at one end of the globe triggered a decline in the intensity of the Indian Summer Monsoons, scientists have found.

The “8.2 ka cooling event” is the largest climatic excursion of the Holocene from the perspective of Greenland temperature change. Greenland temperature dropped by 3 ºC, and methane declined by 80 ppbv, which suggest an important change in the hydrologic cycle.

Iran is not on a suicide mission. It is on autopilot. And nobody in Tehran can reach the controls.

In 2003, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari watched the United States decapitate Saddam Hussein’s centralised command structure in three weeks. He spent the next four years at the IRGC Strategic Studies Centre designing a military architecture that could never be decapitated. In September 2007, he was appointed IRGC Commander and immediately restructured Iran’s entire military into 31 autonomous provincial commands, one per province, each with independent headquarters, command and control, missile and drone arsenals, fast-attack boat flotillas, integrated Basij militias, pre-delegated launch authority, stockpiled munitions, and sealed contingency orders. The doctrine was built for one scenario: the death of the Supreme Leader.

That scenario arrived on 28 February 2026. The doctrine activated within hours. It has been running ever since.

The question nobody has asked is whether anyone inside the Islamic Republic can turn it off.

No. The reason is constitutional.

Article 110 of Iran’s 1979 Constitution vests sole command authority over all armed forces exclusively in the Supreme Leader. He alone is commander-in-chief. He alone appoints and dismisses military leadership. No other institution, not the President, not the Parliament, not the Guardian Council, not the judiciary, possesses constitutional power to issue military orders or rescind the Supreme Leader’s directives.

Ali Khamenei issued the pre-delegation orders. Ali Khamenei is dead. Mojtaba Khamenei was appointed successor on 8th March. He has not spoken. He has not appeared. He has issued no verifiable order. He was wounded in an airstrike and has never addressed his nation in his life. The sole constitutional authority that could override 31 autonomous commands exists in an office occupied by a man who may not be capable of exercising it.

Ghalibaf can reject ceasefires. He cannot order the IRGC to stop. Pezeshkian can issue statements. He cannot countermand a provincial commander in Bushehr launching anti-ship missiles at a tanker. The Guardian Council can vet legislation. It cannot revoke firing authority issued by a dead commander-in-chief whose orders remain legally binding until a living one explicitly rescinds them. No living one has.

The 31 commands are not disobeying. They are obeying. The last orders said: fight independently, with whatever you have, for as long as it takes, without waiting for instructions that may never come. Those orders were designed to survive the death of the man who issued them. That was the entire purpose of Jafari’s twenty-year project.

For insurers: no counterparty can guarantee cessation across 31 independent actors.

For diplomats: no signatory can bind commands they do not control.

For military planners: no single headquarters whose destruction ends the campaign.

For Gulf states: each faces localised harassment from the adjacent Iranian province’s fast-attack boats, drones, and coastal missiles without any central coordination to intercept or negotiate with.

For markets: seven P&I clubs modelled the probability that all 31 commands would simultaneously honour any agreement and concluded near zero. That calculation has not changed because the constitutional mechanism that could compel compliance does not functionally exist.

The doctrine was not designed to win. It was designed to make losing impossible. Jafari studied how centralised armies die. He built one that cannot.

The machine runs without a pilot. The pilot is dead. And the constitution says only the pilot could have turned it off.

J&K is heading toward a serious climate crisis. The dry spell has already begun, Kashmir feels like summer in winter. Rivers are shrinking, the water table is falling, canals are empty for irrigation, and soon even taps may run dry. Farms will suffer, and climate change is already at our doorstep.

Yet the J&K government remains in deep slumber. A full year of Jal Shakti funds has been wasted after a House Committee stalled the department’s functioning rather than facilitating. Ground posts remain vacant and funding for PHE, irrigation and flood control is negligible.

Even this year’s ₹700 crore UT Capex is still unspent, and not a single penny has been released to the department to address the looming crisis for farmers or strengthen flood and irrigation systems.

If urgent steps are not taken to aid the department and immediately restore the CSS schemes, farmers in J&K will soon be left crying in the coming season.
