I am not feeling ambitious enough for #bookaday this summer but am excited to get back into reading and have just finished some amazing books! @MPHaddix @RutaSepetys I cannot wait to share them with students in the fall.

@NicholasFerroni Just finshed my 8th year of teaching and in July will have my 12th anniversary as a 911 Dispatcher - thankfully I have flexible part time hours in the school year and option to work more hours in the summer

@nancytaughtyou In my district they are paid more. Special education teachers receive a stipend because IEPs take time outside of the school day. Same with yearbook advisors, music teachers, student council, etc. Also our special education para professionals have a higher rate of pay.
