@elonmusk Whenever u tweet in the coming 48 hours u will be violating the local PRC law by illegally connecting to Starlink ( selfishly ) to get across the big fat Chinese firewall
@elonmusk Not in places where people need it the most boss, e.g. China. Back then u need the market and resources for building electric cars for money. Time flies, SpaceX is going IPO, you became the richest person in the world , time for change ๐๐ป
@MarioNawfal So peace and democracy will be restored even without a regime change? When was the last time you saw this in the past 100 years on ANY country you can name of ??
Be Selective in Stock Picking
Depending on your style, a successful stock pick could often won you half the battle, or avoid half of the losses.
The following are 5 points highlighted by @AnkurPatel59 which I agree, as a theme investor.
Ankur highlighted these 5 points:
1. Liquidity (no volume no trade)
2. Relative Strength (My "setup")
3. Low range = no trade (this concerns efficient use of my capital. In general I want stocks with beta > 1 to maximise my upside move)
4. Reasons to participate (what's the driving factor? Don't trade random setups)
5. Messy stocks behaviour (irratic movements, history of trapping stocks)
I would like to add a couple more points and a few examples for context.
First an elaboration on point 5. When I met up with @Clement_Ang17 for the second time at the start of 2025, we talked about whether to trust stocks which fresh breakout from stage 1, given that they have been weak while there are already many leaders exhibiting strenth at ATHs.
My view is that it is not how they look on the charts that matters, but whether underneath do they have what it takes to successfully stage their breakout.
As of today I couldn't help but quoting two recent examples on $PATH and $U. I participated in both $PATH and $U a couple of years before, I wasn't even sure if I made money or breakeven without tracking them back. They are just disappointing.
Same "BO", some sexy stories, same ending now? Just a personal choice of finding them deceptive/ hard to trade, AND in a realm which I have other better stocks with higher visibility and personal conviction.

6. Negative Headwinds/ Concerns:
(If in doubt, don't trade)
Note just like $U and $PATH, I am just quoting the examples as how I see them as of now, things could change and I definitely could be wrong, as the environment and valuation keeps revolving. What I want to highlight is just that we have the power to choose, and it could be personal, there is nothing definitely right or wrong.
$RDDT - concern on its MOAT as I highlighted in Oct 2025

$ALAB - concern that the "scale-up" architectures for next-gen AI will see massive GPU clusters requiring interconnects beyond the physical limits of traditional copper-based electrical signaling

$GRAB - concern on its MOAT & TAM

7. Don't trade outside of Personal Cognition/ Comfort Zone
Lastly,
- I don't invest in crypto because I don't understand it
- Precious metals, not my comfort area
- Same for some small caps which are simply too small for me to size in
- probably some others which I miss, but generally, I am content with making money within my cognition, not outside.
