I have a particular message for my fellow Republicans: We’ve lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections.
Our cause is right—but we have failed to win the confidence of a majority of Americans.
Well—that ends today.
If you’re tired of losing, then put your trust in a new generation.
And if you want to win – not just as a party, but as a country – then stand with me!
Our #EdgecombeCounty Commissioner fought the fire in our home tonight. @BlundstoneUS owes him a follow (and a new pair of boots). They may have melted a bit, but these boots have been fighting fires and more since #1870
#MentalHealth matters! I’m taking part in Move for November to help men stay mentally healthy. This cannot be done alone! Please donate to Gibson Energy’s #Movember efforts and support men's health. https://t.co/53v0pH5gw7
You don’t need a shield.
You don’t need a rifle.
You don’t need body armor.
You don’t need back up.
You don’t need permission.
You don’t need authorization.
You need to run towards the sound of gunfire and screams to save lives. #Uvalde
The difference is that violent, hopeless young men in Mexico end up working for cartels. In east Africa they join Al Shabab. In our country they join drug gangs or they sit in isolation in their basement until one day they explode. Different manifestations.
The absolute dumbest narrative is that "this doesn't happen in other countries." I'm sorry, what? Gun violence and mass casualty attacks don't happen in Central America, South America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, etc? Is that really what you're going with?
