#falzapham 1/2 Hamlet’s interaction with the gravediggers while may seem very insignificant are very symbolic of his on going stuggle with the value and worth of a life and the truth of death. It also sets Hamlet on a mental tirade which causes him to excessively over analyze m
#falzapham 1/2 after reading the story the most interesting aspect to me is that in his quest to avenge a life because of his procrastination and lack of action so many other unneccart deaths occur. The excessive deaths starting with Ophelia’s and continuing to the end call to
#falzapham 2/2 question the true value of one life and what it is worth in terms of avenging a life. It comes full circle from Hamlets questions about life in his soliloquies to the obvious unnecessary deaths in the end.
#falzapham Gertrude's in act four portray her as a little clueless of the situation. By going and speaking to Claudius, she is hurting Hamlet and is portraying their flawed relationship. Hamlet has clear resentment for her and he lashes out on her because of it.
#falzapham Ophelia's death comes at an interesting time in the story where the tension before her death and the circumstances in which Laertes's is already so angry and upset about the death of his father. As the reader we can realize that her death came at a bad time forClauduis
#falzapham On his journey to find his father's killer, he ends up on a journey to find out more about everything. After yearning for the answer for one question he gains a desire to answer many unanswered questions. In his sulliiquies in act 3, the way he talks shows this
#falzapham I found it very interesting when Hamlet questions continuing to live or not in act 3, quoting his famous line "to be or not to be," because someone who becomes so passionate about finding his father's killer you would think would value a life more than to question it.
#falzchron7 Angela's ability to break away and act in ways not “customary” opens her to a whole world of future possibilities because she has realized she doesn’t have to do only what is customary.
@francescatann5 #falzchron7 I do agree that there were some biased on Santiago especially the justification of his behavior towards Divina but I also think this shows more about the culture of the society and of the times.
#falzchron7 The wedding portrayed a culture of prevalent drinking making it so common and acceptable that things get over looked. Many of the things the twins said before killing San were not suspicious because ppl assumed they were drunk
#falzchron7 The use of having the narrator of the story as a journalist is an important aspect of the story because he is the only character with no story to tell except for the truth. If the story was told by any character in the town there would be a distinct bias on one side
@agillespieBHS#falzfrome7 I think that the way the reader may or may not feel emotionally attached to the story depends more on the situation of the reader. I think for some the feeling of hopelessness is overwhelming throughout the story
#falzfrome7 this story also illustrates the ways in which people's morals dwindle as their situations get harder. Zeena portrays this through using her health as a way to hurt Ethan and Mattie. When she becomes more desperate her morals seem to disappear quicker and quicker.
