@PatrickKMiller_ Grateful for the special needs room at our church (which I have a hard time calling “mega”) bc they have made room for my neuro-divergent neighbor to serve each Sunday. Staff-student ratio is 3-1 which seems important but impossible for a v small church.
This makes so many points without the candidate even opening his mouth, which is also its own point.
The mutiny that took over my GOP is who will end up reelecting President Biden. Don’t blame the “left.”
Until we have a candidate that inspires and unites, we all lose.
@jim1fletcher@Protestia The John 7 story is well covered quite regularly in our church. We don’t exist/converse/disciple primarily through twitter, though.
@jim1fletcher@Protestia That’s what it was called when I was growing up in conservative evangelical spaces, but not how it was described in the sermon. Not sure what else to call that moment of invitation to engage. Interested how you would describe it, truly.
@andrewaydin The commentary reaction from the R’s is an embarrassing reflection of how few bother to read a full article. Which is 🤯 bc reading the op-eds in full was DRILLED INTO ME by R’leadership back in the day. Gov Rell had “reading days” every Friday!
@andrewaydin Real question (haven’t read bill): would it not allow more students to attend who are in the margins, going forward? Agree that the current population doesn’t “need” a tax credit and legislation isn’t fully baked (both specifically and categorically).
@JosiahHawthorne Check out Dr. Becky’s work @GoodInside It has been one of many relational-based parenting books/methods that has helped us find strategies for our emotional (and sometimes violently so) kiddos.
@JustTMill @JMacArthurC Hadn’t heard that one— this is the one I was thinking of: https://t.co/DezQgCQnmW. But unsurprised that there is more than one.
@emilykmay @JMacArthurC And then they monetized her story. I legit had a devotional-type book based on Cassie. Horrific story, and handled in such a troubling way. I think there was a song too.
ALSO, there is a ticking clock on when women can create a family, while men can add to their family biologically (theoretically) until they die. Don’t get me started on re-entry to the workforce or what happens when she needs to do so because he’s “done.”
The intentional faux-ignorance is the most frustrating part of this. 1) Edu takes time 2) Women without that privilege are burdened by dependence on men for survival while they are caretakers. 3) Our most important earning years are while we are fertile.
The receipts were already provided that should have raised concern. I mean, do you want your little boys' & girls' education led with this philosophy?

This movie is 30 years old now??? Is that why my back hurts and I fall asleep at 9pm and have all these skincare routines? 🥺 Dear #1992 I miss you. #Disney kid here! 🤗
I'm sad that we have come to this moment, as a society, but I applaud @MassGenBrigham for advocating on behalf of their #healthcare workers. These people are the closest thing we have to literal angels on earth. https://t.co/CIO8YiL9Pw
