@mdotbrown As to the point about Jaylen's intelligence, I think he gets labelled that way because he does seem to have a strong capacity.
But he hasn't exposed himself to people who are really educated and just are polished. He's kind of high on his own supply and doesn't read people well.
@mdotbrown In a way they already do, because they split the BRI with the owners. I'm unsure if any unions outside of sports split revenue with the business owners at such a scale.
I see that with the nature of the business for players being fragile that they'd want long term security.
@bballbreakdown@Deadspin I don't know. This is the first I've seen of the player. I wonder how his form could be rebuilt. I imagine it would take years.
@HPbasketball I wish it was more feasible for him to get the SuperMax, at least on his first contract. Although if your plan B is still making $250M, you're managing alright.
@NateSilver538 Yes, we need to have a sound plan. In the end, rhetoric isn't going to ensure security and safety for people; policy is. There's something to be said for symbolic gestures to energize people and engage them. Sometimes a fight isn't to win, but show irritation at their shit.
@drenchy23@ClaireMPLS I'm not sold MIN as an elite team. Yes, they have Ant and had some good runs in the playoffs. I think they're missing something. It's cliche, but DEN winning a title does give them a sense of confidence in tight, tense games that is hard to beat.
