I honestly can’t tell if this @SFGiants team is a cleverly put together one getting maximum value from below average parts, or a poorly put together one with a winning record despite all evidence pointing to the opposite
@jonathanchait “I have not bothered to learn anything despite all the publicly available information, and so I will not be voting for the candidate whose positions clearly match my own if I only bothered to look
to a bio of a Loyda Martinez with Los Alamos connections, who doesn't mention in her bio anything about the core story here. It's getting a lot of attention, and if true deserves it, but I'm surprised at the lack of corroboration so far.
@radleybalko - hey Radley. You retweeted this, and it sounds fascinating, but is there any evidence that it's in any way true? There's not much I can find, and the original poster's demand that verifiers 'Google it' leads to nothing in Google. Even the pic she shared leads back
@ninjaman285@UmpScorecards Yeah this makes no sense. 3 runs were scored off a strike incorrectly called a ball. Unless 2.63 runs were incorrectly awarded to the Giants at some point earlier then how does it make sense?
Wow, @SFGiants, that was a series of inexplicably terrible decisions to blow that inning. Two on nobody out? Yeah, let’s bunt and then run on a short pop fly
Every single game the @SFGiants get men on base with two outs only to have a ball way outside called a strike at 3-2. Every single game, often multiple times!
Don’t tell me the umpires aren’t crooked or purposefully incompetent.
@BayAreaGooners No idea why, but seeing the new fixtures for the first time always gives me goosebumps. It sends me back to being a kid and having the whole world open up in possibility.
@95130SB @krazyjoe@strangeharbors@dalley_liam Agreed. The hate it gets is exclusively around the admittedly bizarre turn in the universe to spy stuff. If it had been the first Cars film it would be beloved
@GoldenGrizzlyy@NBCSGiants Before the game ends preferably. I expect them to get a lot wrong - they’re terrible after all - but this is a whole other level of incompetence
@jayfly40@NBCSGiants Because that's the season so far, that's the literal definition of it. You could make a reasonable argument that he's become average with the great recent run, and has the potential to become great if he keeps it up, but i'm taking into account his salary too.
