Ramai tau Ringgit naik berbanding Rupiah, sekarang MYR/IDR lebih 4,000.

Tapi ramai taktau kenapa Rupiah jatuh teruk dan Ringgit naik lebih 11.6% tahun ni berbanding Rupiah.

Tahun ni pelabur asing lari daripada pasaran bon Indonesia sampai aliran masuk bersih ke pasaran bon Indonesia tinggal USD25 juta sahaja.

Terbalik dengan Malaysia, tahun ni pelabur asing masuk dalam pasaran bon dengan jumlah RM17.3 bilion, bulan lepas sahaja RM4.4 bilion.

Lepas Menteri Kewangan Indonesia Sri Mulyani kena pecat daripada kabinet September lepas, pelabur asing lagi cepat lari sebab takut kedudukan fiskal Indonesia semakin teruk iaitu perbelanjaan tak terkawal dan defisit meningkat.

Malaysia pulak terbalik juga perbelanjaan Kerajaan terkawal, defisit turun.

So Ringgit naik, Rupiah turun.

Yesterday I wasn’t feeling well. Husb bought us dinner from pasar malam and fed me medicine while I was in bed. He ironed the clothes for us and the kids, did the laundry and washed the dishes.

Today, he went to bed early. Just after Isyak, he dozed off. I could see how exhausted he was. So I took care of the rest of the house chores, ironing the clothes, doing the laundry and washing the dishes.

You see, yesterday, it was 30:70. And today, it’s 70:30. The ratio is never fixed. Sometimes it’s 55:45. Sometimes it’s 60:40. Depends on day. Sometimes it even got to 43.8:56.2

Marriage is about partnership. It’s about complementing and backing each other up. You can’t define it by an exact ratio. As long as both respect each other, understand partnership and responsibility, they’ll make it, insyaAllah.

Israeli forces have illegally boarded the Flotilla’s vessel Oxygono and others in international waters. Livestreams and communication are down, and the status of those on board is unknown. Governments must demand their safety and release.

I condemn in the strongest terms Israel’s interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla. These vessels carried unarmed civilians and life-saving humanitarian supplies for Gaza, yet they were met with intimidation and coercion.

By blocking a humanitarian mission, Israel has shown utter contempt not only for the rights of the Palestinian people but also for the conscience of the world. The flotilla embodied solidarity, compassion and the hope of relief for those under blockade.

Malaysia will use all legitimate and lawful means at our disposal to ensure that Israel is held to account, especially in matters concerning Malaysian citizens. The safety and dignity of our people are paramount, and we will not allow them to be compromised with impunity.

As long as the Palestinian people are denied their fundamental rights and aspirations, Malaysia will stand unflinchingly with them. We will not relent in demanding an end to the injustice and dispossession that have plagued Palestine for generations.
