@COLORMktgDesign@herculezg McKenzie and Robinson had an awful game. McKenzie’s positioning on the first goal was dogshit. Trusty was yelling at his CBs the entire game - rightfully so.
This has to be one of the nicest public viewing spots I‘ve ever been to. Right next to the Niagara Falls. Also first time trying Poutine, one of Canada‘s national dishes.
@TheKopWatch He just shouldn’t be a starter. He does better coming on with thirty minutes left and some legs are tired. He definitely likes to pop up for a late goal (although usually after we’ve already got the game in hand).
A guy I dated in my twenties, Julian, was aggressively frugal. On our first date, he asked to split a $12 appetizer. He drove a rusted 2004 Honda Civic with a broken AC, and for vacations, he would only agree to camping because "hotels are a capitalist scam designed to drain the working class."
He worked as a mid-level data analyst, so I assumed he was just aggressively paying off student loans. I tried to be supportive. I stopped suggesting nice dinners, sweated out three summers in his passenger seat, and learned how to pitch a tent in the rain.
One weekend, we went to visit his parents in Connecticut. I expected a modest suburban home.
We pulled up to a gated estate with a cobblestone driveway and a fountain. His mother greeted us in silk loungewear. When Julian went to the bathroom, his dad started chatting with me about finance.
"Julian’s doing so well," his dad said proudly. "He just crossed the $3 million mark in his personal portfolio. We told him he could retire, but he just loves the routine of his little analyst job."
@river_is_nice Just a few fellas out taking the W while the voyeur films wistfully hoping they will ask him to join and when they don’t notice him, he turns to cynicism instead.
I need more men to understand that two men crying and hugging in space after one of them announced they were naming a moon crater after the other one’s late wife is actually what peak masculinity looks like
