Television management guru apparently. Often found on yachts and lifeboats. Retired military gay rights activist. RT doesn't imply support, just interest.
@bbc5live I used AC a lot when we lived in the Caribbean for work. My partner kept switching it off saying it was bad. I bought carbon offset trees in a forest in the USA. The certificate came with instructions how to fly there to see them π€£

Nearly one million UK workers aged 50 and over are now struggling to secure employment, with new labour market data showing a 22 per cent rise in joblessness among over-50s since 2023.
Enough with the neets!

@Ed_Miliband To ensure 100% delivery on a wind and solar model, you need 100% back-up capacity for windless nights. That's like all homes needing two cars, a day car and a night car. Explain that capital model to me? We have to pay 200% of the capital costs required to generate UK power?
@Ed_Miliband We are importing fuels that are sitting unexploited in British waters. What kind of fool ships fuels from Qatar (blocked) and the USA when they have them at home? And when a market doubles in price, what sort of country chooses not to sell the same asset?
@afneil I can't quite fathom what happened when journalists and party members were asking where donations for an independence referendum had gone. For several years people were asking what had happened to 400k. How is that not a cover up? Did she think he had lost it down the sofa?
Great to see @hall_ed and @polbikers at the NMA yesterday and to spend time at the LGBT Armed Forces Memorial.
Kevin was one of the figures responsible for the memorial project; fascinating to get some behind the scenes insights from him and Ed at the site.
@bbc5live It is true that a young unemployed carer with social needs from the North East can't now work as a ski chalet maid in France without a visa, but not sure changing that will fix the issues he or she faces. #remained#middleclassproblems
@blaiklockBP@AngelaRayner I helped save five people from a sinking boat in the Thames last week. I've been a lifeboat volunteer for nearly 25 years. I'm proud of what I do and very sad when people like you fire cheap shots at a great charity that saves lives around the entire coast of the UK and Ireland.
Nothing about defence investment, and nothing about a benefits bill that will exceed Income Tax revenues in Year 25/26 for the first time.
Quite mad.
