@MetaDemonReal only the most diabolical answer to the Q&A was changed. we are still gonna have to use blind skull to get screenshots, watch Johnson use the unusable stanchion, so on. so done with this bro
The biggest problem with the design of the Halo rings post-Bungie is that they don't look megalithic. The scale the old design impresses upon the viewer is undeniable--it LOOKS huge. The 343 designs all look incredibly tiny, especially the newest one. It looks like a mini model.
The classic ring sports tiny greebles and lights and overlapping panels that make it look incredibly huge, contrasted with the newest ring design which has smooth, continuous metal plates that line the entire ring, adorned with, large, seemingly useless dishes. The design doesn't convey the correct scale, it just looks small.
Also just wanna say for one of Xbox’s and gaming most important franchises, it should really be pushing the boundaries not making excuses.
We live in an age of photo modes basically being expected. Saying “just use blind skull” is frankly embarrassing for this franchise.
So you guys care about remaining faithful to the original game, yet you spend your time, effort, and money on tacky eyesore skins, but not the models for the enemies you fight throughout the ENTIRE original campaign, and decide to just use Halo Infinite models.
Once you understand that most of the far right’s anger is because white women now have agency & aren’t forced to marry mediocre white men then every thing they do makes perfect sense.
Halo’s biggest problem, especially post-Bungie, is that it has no artistic vision. Each game is a radical departure from the last. There’s no “Halo aesthetic”. Everything from the Halos to guns to enemies to armour to Cortana to the ships – everything changes from game to game
Its neat to see a new take on the ring. I do largely prefer the OG version though. The mostly flat exterior and implied "imbedded" structures and thousands of tiny lights/windows sold the idea of a massive megastructure much better
H2A translated it into 4k so well
Dad can I go over my friend’s house to play halo?
Dad: Sure
Dad can I also get a subscription to PlayStation plus, even though we don’t own a PS5, so I can play halo locally on my friends PS5
Dad: What
@SteveChillGame Now you have to buy a second Xbox or PlayStation, buy a second psplus or gamepass subscription, setup a match, control both characters to get the shots you want, instead of going to 2-3 menus. 343 just banger after banger
@Fabulous_Corvid@DerGruneMann i hate their insistence on calling people who just want halo to be good 'miserable'. like not everyone became a 'fan' 2 months ago
