PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
BEWARE OF FAKE REVENUE COLLECTORS: REQUEST AN E-DEMAND NOTICE BEFORE MAKING ANY REVENUE PAYMENT IN KADUNA STATE
The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) advises all taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State to always request an E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) before making any revenue payment through approved payment channels.
As part of its ongoing automation of revenue collection processes, including the transition from the Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice to the E-Demand Notice, KADIRS wishes to inform the public that manual demand notices are no longer valid for Local Government revenue collection across the State.
KADIRS therefore, urges the good people of Kaduna State to reject all old (manual) demand notices, as the Service no longer issues them.
The E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) is the only legally recognized document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the Central Billing System (https://t.co/doIpJxcSwi).
Each E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) contains unique features that enable taxpayers to make payments directly into the respective Local Government revenue accounts through any of the following approved channels:
1. Bank Branches (via PayDirect)
2. Quickteller Pay Agents
3. Quickteller Online (https://t.co/lQbWsXsf0o)
4. Point of Sale (POS) devices operated by authorized KADIRS revenue agents
NOTE: Always ensure that payment is made through the approved channels stated above.
KADIRS appreciates your understanding, cooperation, and continued support in promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient revenue administration in Kaduna State.

Grateful to our troops...
On Thursday, I was on the Bwari-Jere Road about 20 or more kilometers to Jere when I saw a man waving motorists to a halt. I had already passed him when I realized what was happening, but I stopped about a hundred meters later.
As it is said, as we move and wander on the surface of this impermanent life, we are all on a sojourn to the grave. The overall variables of all the stories that make human judgments are largely emotions, sentiments, and deductions of the single-story mindset. One basic attribute of most humans is that they hide under the pretext of the common good to judge and demonize others despite their own imperfections. May God not show us the day we will rejoice over anyone’s end and sorrow, but give us deeper faith to wish everyone well.

MUHAMMADU BUHARI: FAREWELL TO A PATRIOT AND PEOPLE’S PRESIDENT
It is with profound sorrow and complete submission to the will of Almighty Allah, that we receive the news of the passing of one of Nigeria’s most revered sons — President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. A towering figure in our national life: he was a soldier, statesman, reformer, and, above all, a beloved leader of the people.
President Buhari lived with quiet dignity and unwavering commitment to the service of Nigeria. From his early days in the military to his presidency, he embodied discipline, integrity, and uncommon patriotism. His courage in confronting corruption and insisting on accountability in public life inspired millions. A man of Spartan simplicity and deep faith, he remained grounded in the values of justice and fairness, always aligning himself with the hopes and struggles of the ordinary Nigerian — the talakawa, whom he championed with conviction.
Though a military General, he chose the difficult path of democratic reinvention. He believed deeply in the rule of law, due process, and the supremacy of the people’s will. He taught us that strength is not only measured in force, but in restraint; not only in command, but in character.
Kaduna State mourns this great son of Nigeria. To us, he was more than a leader — he was a moral compass, a father figure, and a steady voice in times of uncertainty. His legacy will live on in the ideals he upheld, the institutions he strengthened, and the millions he inspired.
On behalf of the government and people of Kaduna State, I extend our deepest condolences to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; the Buhari family; the government and people of Katsina State; and indeed all Nigerians who now share in this moment of collective grief.
We pray that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, grants President Muhammadu Buhari eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. May He also grant comfort and strength to the bereaved and to a nation now united in remembrance.
Nigeria has lost a statesman. History has gained a legend.
