When we talk about closing Uganda’s WASH inequality gap, we must consider the different categories of people who need attention, special interest groups, the sick, and girls who require specialized WASH facilities, such as appropriately designed restrooms. If Uganda budgets for water with this inclusive approach, it can recognize water as a right.
