Profile and picture of Les Hamer (1921-1992) (Horwich / Chorley) from 1967. He was a FL linesman 1950-1955 and on the Referees List 1955-1968 - coincidentally the same years as neighbouring ref Ken Dagnall of Bolton. In his final season he refereed the 1968 League Cup Final.
