Education is one of the most powerful tools for building peace, prosperity, and human dignity.
Yet in conflict zones and fragile states around the world, schools, universities, teachers, and students continue to be targeted by violence through bombings, armed occupation of educational facilities, abductions, threats, and the forced recruitment of children. These attacks do not merely damage infrastructure; they strip an entire generation of its right to learn, to grow, and to imagine a better future.

Since 2020, the United Nations General Assembly has observed 9 September as the International Day for the Protection of Education from Attack, in recognition of the urgent need to safeguard safe and enabling learning environments, particularly in humanitarian emergencies and conflict-affected regions. This observance reaffirms the international community's commitment to the right to education for all, as enshrined in international human rights and humanitarian law.

⚡Why This Matters?

👉Attacks on education disproportionately affect the most vulnerable children, deepening cycles of poverty, displacement, and instability.
👉The destruction of schools and the killing or intimidation of teachers can set back a country's development by generations.
👉Safe access to education is not only a matter of learning it is a matter of protection, dignity, and hope for children living through crisis

⚡We call upon governments, international organizations, civil society, and communities around the world to:

1.Strengthen legal protections for schools, universities, and educational personnel during armed conflict.
2.Hold accountable those responsible for attacks on educational institutions.
3.Invest in the reconstruction of schools and support systems for teachers and students affected by violence.
4.Raise global awareness of the long-term consequences of attacks on education.

Protecting education is protecting peace. Protecting schools is protecting the future.

اعتیاد در آغاز ممکن است نه جرم باشد و نه بیماری؛ اما می‌تواند زمینه‌ساز بسیاری از آسیب‌ها، از جمله بیماری، ارتکاب جرم، پنهان‌کاری و آسیب به دیگران شود. رفتاری که در ابتدا ساده و کم‌اهمیت به نظر می‌رسد، ممکن است به‌تدریج مسیر زندگی فرد را تغییر دهد و پیامدهای جدی‌تری به همراه داشته باشد.

Established in 2003 by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (@IASP) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (@WHO ), this day serves as a global platform to raise awareness about suicide prevention and to unite individuals, communities, and organizations in a shared commitment to saving lives.

The primary aim of World #Suicide Prevention Day is to draw global attention to suicide as a serious yet preventable public health issue. It seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health struggles and suicide, encourage open conversations, and promote access to appropriate care and support systems.

Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, more than 700,000 people die by suicide each year, which translates to one death every 40 seconds. It is a leading cause of death among young people, and for every suicide, there are many more individuals who attempt it.

Each year, the IASP designates a specific theme to guide global observance. Governments, mental health organizations, schools, and communities host a variety of activities, including educational seminars, public awareness campaigns, memorial events, and candle-lighting ceremonies held at 8:00 PM local time to honor those lost to suicide and to show support for survivors and those affected.

The day emphasizes that suicide is preventable through timely intervention, increased awareness, and community support.

باید یک نکات کلیدی و بیسیک را در نظر بگیریم که حداقل جزو حقوق بشر هم، حالا حقوق بشر نوین بخواهیم بگوییم، هست و آن هم این است که هر کسی یک رأی دارد و حق ندارد جای نسل آینده رأی بدهد. این خیلی مهم است.

مانیفست رنسانس ایران آزاد

اصل-۴: اصالت حقوق بشر

پایه همه تصمیم گیری و قانون گذاری ها بر مبنای رعایت حقوق بشر می باشد. از جمله:
ــ هر ایرانی صرف نظر از جنسیت و نوع تمایلاتشان، دین و مذهب و آیین و مرام و اعتقادات، قومیت و… از حقوق مساوی برخوردارند.
ــ همه قوانین در جهت تامین حقوق بشر برای آحاد مختلف ایران میباشد که از آن میان میتوان به آزادی اندیشه، آزادی بیان، آزادی انتخاب دین و آیین و شیوه تفکری و… اشاره نمود.
ــ هر ایرانی دارای یک رای بوده و از سهم درآمد ملی نیز یک سهم دارد (مگر با ضریبی که بستگی به منطقه سکونت فرد و میزان محرومیت منطقه ای دارد).
ــ «بیمه ملی» حق مسلم و پایه برای همه آحاد مختلف مردم ایران از بدو تولد میباشد. از جمله بیمه درمانی، بیمه شغلی و از کارافتادگی، بیمه تحصیلی ، بیمه حوادث غیرمترقبه و…
ــ از آنجا که همه آحاد ملت از بدو تولد (صرفنظر از داشتن یا نداشتن والد) تحت پوشش بیمه ملی قرار میگیرند، در نتیجه کودکان نیز تا سن ۱۸ سالگی تحت آموزش‌های درسی، فنی و حرفه‌ای و مهارت، هنری، ورزشی و… قرار داشته و مجاز به کار نیستند. بنابراین، موضوعیت کار و گدایی کودکان (و بزرگسالان) هیچگونه توجیهی نداشته و نبایستی در جامعه وجود داشته باشد.
ــ کسانیکه به دلایل مختلفی از جمله اعتیاد از داشتن کار امتناع میکنند و مایلند به ولگردی رو بیاورند در کمپ های مخصوص تحت مراقبت های لازم قرار میگیرند. درنتیجه «ولگردی» نیز هیچگونه موضوعیتی نداشته و لازم است برای آن چاره اندیشی کارشناسانه بعمل آید.
