Chris Haynes on Jalen Duren:
"If he takes that (qualifying offer)...he really wants out, he is fed up...he doesn't want to be there. Even if that's the case I would say do not do that"
@Pistons__Talk 1. Why we just skipping over Daniss? Let’s be honest, he could start and that’d be fine.
2. Our depth scares me. Definitely lacking in vet depth and experience. Tobias helped a lot with that. (Would love Jrue or Dillon Brooks)
3. Feels like we traded in grit for the opposite?

Wemby taking less than the max as a top 5 player ITL while we have Duren pulling this BS right now…
I mean, Brunson even took a pay cut and they won a championship in large part to that.
Wemby wants to win in SA, Duren wants 5 extra million to play in Sacramento.
Let’s be honest. There is a reason everyone wants TM3. Don’t blame them for wanting to keep him. Doesn’t excuse them from making 0 moves though.
If they did receive offers of 3-4 FRP, you should probably sell him. Zion should’ve been ditched by now as well.
The Pelicans want to keep Trey Murphy and the offseason chatter got blown out of proportion by the Pelicans letting other teams think he is available, per @JakeLFischer
If KD wants you, you get KD. I get it hasn’t worked in years past on other teams, but it’s fucking Kevin Durant. If he wants Detroit, Detroit wants him. He’s a top 5 all time scorer still playing at a prime level.
The recent KD experiments didn't end well.
The difference? None of those teams had Cade Cunningham.
Cade Cunningham x Kevin Durant is a match made in heaven.
MAKE IT HAPPEN. 🙏
People gonna overreact to this lol. It’s been in the G league for a while, plus all of the people complaining won’t watch a summer league game in the first place
The NBA is implementing a "one free-throw" rule during Summer League. If a player is fouled while shooting, they'll get one free-throw, and it'll count for all the points they were attempting.
So yes, if they're fouled on a three, they'll shoot one free-throw, worth 3 points.
Free agent John Collins has agreed to a three-year, $51 million deal to sign with the Detroit Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Frontcourt addition and a new lob threat for Cade Cunningham in Detroit.
Ja Morant’s trade value was reportedly so low that people around the NBA wondered if Memphis would end up buying him out if they couldn’t trade him, per @KellyIko
