@ClareCosy All of the obvious highlights, but a big one for me was Stephens standing his ground in front of McKay at full steam in the 2nd quarter and taking the hit, thought he had an awesome game, the outside run has always been there, but adding quite a few body on the line moments too

@lucasgarth @7AFL Offered them contracts under expansion recruiting rules, also available to Geelong in the same year and similar to rules available to 8 later expansion clubs, no unique advantage to NM. Foundation clubs also had the opportunity of a counter offer to any player considering leaving

@ClareCosy Totally agree, but looking at the way the Giants are playing after the delay, maybe standing around ankle deep in floodwater is more effective than keeping warm on an exercise bike!

@Bombers_Boss @wil5573 @AFL Probably because tackling isn't part of your job... footballers aren't allowed to take laptops on field and do taxes or drive a forklift on the ground, every job is different, what isn't different is homophobic slurs are not (or at least should not be) tolerated in any work place

@MitchellGlenn Amazing day of cricket! I think that Test, the 2005 two run Edgbaston Ashes Test and the 2006 434/438 Johannesburg ODI are the three most remarkable matches I have seen, funnily enough, Australia lost all three and unusually for those Australian sides, also lost those series!
