In the constitutional petition of my father Wahid Kambar, the learned counsel of my father filed an application under Order I Rule 10, C.P.C., seeking to implead three necessary parties, namely:
1.The Director General, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI),
2.The Director General, Intelligence Bureau (IB), and
3.The Ministry of Defence.

The matter was fixed for hearing before the High Court of Balochistan today. During proceedings, the learned Prosecutor General submitted his rejoinder and stated that he would contest the said application. However, the rejoinders from the learned Advocate General as well as from the proposed respondents have not yet been placed on record.

The Court, therefore, adjourned the matter to the next date of hearing, directing that the rejoinders from all concerned parties be filed in the meantime. It was further observed that upon completion of the pleadings, the matter shall be taken up for arguments on the petitioner’s 1/10 application.

The High Court of Balochistan is raising questions of jurisdiction, pointing out that my father was abducted from Iran, instead of focusing on his recovery and production before the court. Such an approach undermines the fundamental fact that he is a Pakistani citizen, and it is the duty of the State to trace him and ensure his appearance before the court. Jurisdictional excuses cannot override the responsibility of the court. My father must be found and produced, regardless of where the abduction took place.

The opposite parties are using delay tactics to linger on the matter. We appeal to the justice system of Pakistan to produce my aged father before the court

We urge people from all walks of life, including civil society members, journalists, lawyers, and human rights defenders to visit the camp and stand in solidarity with the families in their fight for justice.

Martyrs of July 15, 1960 – Betrayed Under the Holy Quran, Yet Unbroken in Spirit

On this solemn day, we remember the brutal betrayal and martyrdom of the companions of Nawab Nauroz Khan; Mir Bhate Khan, Bhawal Khan, Masti Khan, Ghulam Rasool, and Sabzal Khan, who were hanged by the Pakistani state on July 15, 1960 in Hyderabad Jail.

They were not defeated in war, but deceived in the name of peace. The Pakistani army came with the Holy Quran in their hands, swearing on its sanctity that if the Baloch came down mountains for negotiations, no harm would come to them. Trusting the word of God, they laid down their arms but instead of talks, they were shackled, jailed, and sentenced to death.

As they stood before the gallows, and with proud , they made one final, scorching demand:

“Hang the Holy Quran with us because it too was betrayed.”

With this cry, they turned their execution into a moment of eternal defiance. They exposed the treachery of the oppressor and upheld the sacredness of their cause, the dignity, freedom, and sovereignty of the Baloch people.

Five years later, on December 25, 1965, Nawab Nauroz Khan, the 90-year-old symbol of Baloch resistance died in captivity.

Today, we pay them homage. Their sacrifice is carved into the soul of Balochistan. Their words echo in every corner of our land. And their courage continues to light the path of our national struggle.

Amnesty International has issued an urgent action, calling on authorities to immediately release six Baloch activists — Mahrang Baloch, Beebow Baloch, Gulzadi Baloch, Shah Jee Baloch, Beebagr Baloch, and Ghaffar Qambrani, who are currently detained solely for exercising their rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. The authorities must refrain from filing baseless charges aimed at unjustly prolonging their detention.

BNM’s Diplomatic Mission in Geneva: Consultation on Possible Proceedings Against Pakistan in the International Criminal Court

During the 59th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, a delegation of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), led by Party Chairman @DrNaseemBaluch . Naseem Baloch, held significant meetings in Geneva with representatives of human rights organizations and international bodies working in conflict-affected regions.

The BNM delegation included @FaheemBalochBNM , the party’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and @Niaz_Zehri , coordinator for the Foreign Department. The delegation met with officials from the Tibetan Office, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and heads of other relevant institutions.

Participation in UN Subsidiary Sessions: Presenting the Case of Balochistan

The delegation also participated in several UN side events and subsidiary sessions, including discussions related to the International Criminal Court (ICC), the UNHCR on migration, and issues of forced displacement. During these engagements, the BNM delegation established effective diplomatic contacts, drawing attention to the Baloch national liberation movement, the ongoing human rights crisis caused by Pakistan’s occupation of Balochistan, and its wider implications for regional stability.

Meeting with International Legal Team: Discussion on Possible Case Against Pakistan

One key component of the visit was a meeting with a team of international legal experts. The discussion focused on the possibility of initiating proceedings against the Pakistani state and its officials at the International Criminal Court under international legal frameworks and human rights standards. The lawyers were briefed on the grave and deteriorating human rights situation in Balochistan.

In addition, the delegation met with Ms. Thinlay Chukki, the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Switzerland and Head of the Tibetan Office. The discussion centered around shared concerns, and both sides expressed interest in future cooperation and diplomatic coordination.

These diplomatic engagements are part of BNM’s long-term foreign policy, which aims to garner international support for the Baloch freedom movement and to raise global awareness about the serious human rights violations taking place in #Balochistan under Pakistani occupation.
