امیرخان متقی، وزیر خارجه طالبان، از امریکا خواسته است مسیر تعامل با این گروه را تغییر دهد و برای برقراری روابط عادی و بازگشایی سفارت این کشور در کابل اقدام کند.

متقی در گفت‌وگو با خبرگزاری کیودوی جاپان گفته است که طالبان خواهان گسترش روابط با کشورهای مختلف، به‌ویژه ایالات متحده امریکا است.

وزیر خارجه طالبان همچنین از واشنگتن خواسته است زمینه تعامل بیشتر و برقراری روابط عادی با این گروه را فراهم کند.

او در این گفت‌وگو خواستار بازگشایی سفارت امریکا در کابل شده، اما درباره زمان بازگشت دختران به مکتب و پوهنتون برنامه مشخصی ارایه نکرده است.

متقی در بخش دیگری از این گفت‌وگو از جاپان خواسته است برای فعال‌شدن دوباره سفارت افغانستان در توکیو همکاری کند.

تلاش طالبان برای گسترش روابط دیپلماتیک در حالی ادامه دارد که بیشتر کشورها، از جمله کشورهای منطقه، هنوز حکومت این گروه را به رسمیت نشناخته‌اند.

محدودیت‌های طالبان بر آموزش و کار زنان و دختران نیز همچنان یکی از موضوعات مورد اختلاف این گروه با کشورهای غربی است و بر روند عادی‌سازی روابط و گسترش تعامل دیپلماتیک با طالبان تأثیر گذاشته است.

Alhamdulillah, after many decades of yearning for this opportunity, Allah blessed me to visit Bilād al-Shām and travel to many of its cities, and interact with some of its scholars and leaders. Everywhere I went, the mood of the people was one of optimism and happiness, after decades of living under the yoke of civil war, tyranny and oppression.

Especially in this sensitive time, when there is so much negativity in the world, what happened in Syria represents a ray of hope and a brighter future. No group is perfect, but let us try to help where we can, and correct them wisely if they fall short.

It’s a bit sad to see how some good Syria experts, analysts, and observers who were once genuinely thoughtful have had their brains melted by the new Syrian government. Their analysis has reached the point where it is literally impossible for the government to do anything that wouldn’t confirm their prior beliefs. (It’s also interesting that most of them live abroad and for some reason probably think they’d get persecuted for what they say/think.)

If Ahmad al-Sharaa invades Lebanon, he’s a dangerous transnational jihadist bent on regional conquest. If he doesn’t invade Lebanon, he’s merely a patient jihadist who is temporarily too weak to act.

If the Ministry of Defense massacres Alawites, it proves the regime is genocidal and sectarian. If it doesn’t, it’s only because it lacks the capability (for now).

If the government works with the West, it’s running an elaborate deception campaign. If it refuses to work with the West, it proves it has learned nothing and remains irredeemably extremist.

If it dismantles militias, it’s authoritarian centralization. If it leaves them alone, it’s evidence that the state has collapsed.

And so on and so forth.

There are even commentators drafting walls of text explaining how the government has not yet implemented any of the nefarious schemes it should have… but it’s only a matter of time!

There are hundreds of ways to criticize the actions, policies, statements, and, why not, the intentions of the new Syrian authorities through some of their moves. But criticism for the sake of criticism is so cringe come on.

It’s quite sad to have lost so many thoughtful voices at a time when we need them the most.

Does being anti-Iran make you a Zionist? Only a fool or a dishonest actor would say so.

In a deeply unhelpful, zero-sum game, if you are not sufficiently supportive of the Iranian regime as it faces a massive bombing campaign from the US and Israel, you are immediately smeared as a "Zionist."

Conversely, if you criticise the US and Israeli war machines too harshly, you are immediately branded an "Islamist," an "Ayatollah sympathiser," or a "terrorist apologist."

But here is the uncomfortable truth that shatters this binary: It is entirely possible – and indeed, morally imperative – to be both fiercely anti-Iranian regime and vehemently anti-US and Israeli warmongering simultaneously. You do not have to be a fanboy for any empire, least of all ones that have devastated countries like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.

منذ شهرين لم أسمع صوت رصاصة واحدة تُطلق في المناسبات في مدينة الطبقة، وذلك بعد مضي قرابة أربعة أشهر على تحرير المدينة، على عكس ما كان يحدث في السابق من إطلاق نار عشوائي بشكل دائم، بمناسبة وبدون مناسبة. وهذا بفضل جهود القوات الأمنية، والفضل الأكبر يعود إلى التزام الأهالي بالقوانين ورغبتهم في إنهاء حالة الفوضى التي كانت موجودة في عهد قسد.

ومنذ أكثر من شهرين، تعمل الكهرباء 24 ساعة في المدينة دون انقطاع، بعد أن كانت لا تأتي إلا لساعات ق��يلة. واليوم لدينا 50 ألف طالب التحقوا بالمدارس في المدينة وريفها، بعد أن كانوا 5 آلاف فقط في عهد قسد، وذلك لامتناع الأهالي عن إرسال أبنائهم إلى المدارس خوفاً عليهم من ميليشيات الشبيبة الثورية التي كانت تجند الأطفال، بالإضافة إلى رفضهم تدريس أبنائهم المنهاج الخاص بقسد.

والأهم من ذلك مكافحة المخدرات، فهناك حرب خفية بعيدة عن الإعلام تجري منذ شهرين ضد تجار ومروجي ومتعاطي المخدرات في المدينة، حيث تم خلالها اعتقال العشرات وتفكيك عدة شبكات لتجارة المخدرات والسرقة.
