@AbdulRehman0292 Lets be honest here; that Rs10 Lac investment is not worth Rs40 Lac. After all the broker and tax deductions; you're going to be left with 20-ish lacs. Then after catering for Rupee devaluation and inflation; you will realize you just accumulated more cash but 0 value.
Calls in Iran for the arrest and execution of IAEA Director General Grossi are unacceptable and should be condemned.
We support the lAEA's critical verification and monitoring efforts in Iran and commend the Director General and the lAEA for their dedication and professionalism. We call on Iran to provide for the safety and security of IAEA personnel.
The New York establishment is running scared. Despite spending millions against him, Zohran was ahead in the last poll.
If New Yorkers come out in good numbers today, @ZohranKMamdani can become New York City’s next mayor.
Let’s make it happen. Please vote.
Though a bit late true face of butcher of Gujrat is being shown to the world clubbed with cousin Netanyahu butcher of Gaza.
Good luck Mamdani God be with you🫡
While the world watches Israel's war with Iran, Netanyahu's extremist government continues to starve and massacre Palestinians in Gaza.
Today, Israeli forces again opened fire on people desperately trying to collect food aid, killing dozens. Over 56,000 have been killed so far.
The protection of our soldiers should be the top priority of the government. Apart from individual protective gear, our soldiers/ military personnel must be given armored vehicles (not some cheap Toyota trucks) for traversing through combat zones. Check-posts must be heavily fortified so they can sustain enemy fire. Other safety precautions must be taken as well. This will decrease casualties and increase morale of the soldiers. Analogously, it will frustrate the enemy and deteriorate their confidence when they'll be unable to achieve their objective of inflicting loss of life.
CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, "THE 12 DAY WAR." This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn't, and never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!
DONALD J. TRUMP,
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
It's really not necessary to push Pakistan into every little incident; just to rake up domestic political support. The real points of discussions are the lessons our policy makers and the people of Pakistan may have learnt from this 12-day episode; however, our issue is that we always remain reactive.
The ceasefire has been announced. Trump calls it the “12-Day War.” However, the real question is: were any concrete objectives achieved by either side during this conflict, which claimed many lives on both ends?
Israel’s objectives have fluctuated throughout. It initiated the war under the pretext of dismantling Iran’s nuclear program. Somewhere along the way, its aims shifted toward regime change and eventually became a blend of both. The involvement of the United States provoked a broader regional conflict. While Iran’s nuclear capabilities may not have been eliminated, they have undeniably suffered a setback. Amos Yadlin (ex-Military Intelligence Directorate Head), speaking on CNN, asserted that the sole objective was to neutralize Iran’s nuclear facilities. However, the Israeli Prime Minister and various ministers have repeatedly attempted to leverage the conflict as a means to incite regime change. This inconsistency and lack of clarity suggest internal political divisions within Israel. Another compelling angle is how the conflict may have bolstered Netanyahu’s domestic political standing, whether this was part of a broader strategy remains unknown. Nevertheless, Israel has proven yet again that it is a highly competent and formidable force in the Middle-East.
Iran, on the other hand, emerges weakened but not defeated. Several high-ranking scientists, generals, and government officials have been assassinated, exposing glaring security lapses within the regime. In the coming days, Iran will need to reassess and reinforce its security apparatus to address both external threats and internal vulnerabilities. Survival will depend on investing in electronic warfare systems, enhancing personnel training, improving its intelligence network and expanding air power. Its missile arsenal, however advanced, will be ineffective if not shielded from precise enemy strikes. However, the grit and the spirit of the Iranians in face of adversity is to be lauded. Furthermore, Iran's urge to take up every issue in the UN security council is welcoming; it shows that it believes in diplomacy and looks towards international cooperation to appease all discontentment.
The US has shown restraint, and I believe has remained quite mature when dealing with this predicament. It has urged diplomacy and negotiations but also displayed enough firepower to remain within a certain threshold to avoid any further escalation and also satisfy the Israeli lobbyists in Washington.
All in all, both countries may have inched toward a few of their objectives (explicit to this conflict), but the conflict has largely ended in a stalemate. The true victims, as always, are the innocent civilians who lost their lives and livelihoods. The overarching takeaway is that in the current international system, war rarely delivers the desired outcomes. It is only through sustained diplomacy and genuine political will on both sides that meaningful progress can be achieved.

In Plato’s book The Republic, when Socrates is defining a state, he makes sure from the very beginning that an individual can only take up one art form. The shoemaker can only make shoes; husbandmen will only take up husbandry; the sailor shall only pilot the ship; and so, on and so forth.
I'd like to draw parallels between this concept and Montesquieu’s division of power.
The three branches defined by Montesquieu; the judiciary, the executive, and the legislature apart from acting as catalysts to curb the concentration of power, must also remain within their set constitutional domains. They all have one set of duties.
Coming back to the idea of every individual having only one skill/art form; the argument set forth by Socrates (in The Republic) was that if an individual practices more than one skill, they lose their ability to perfect even one which makes them inefficient.
So, the point is that institutions must also eschew interference in other domains of the state's structure, so they may perfect their own one 'artform' which are their set constitutional duties.
This is quite an irrational post. Having the desire to target a neighbor's nuclear facilities is equivalent to suicide. Chernobyl did not have weapons grade radioactive material but its nuclear fall-out of isotopes of iodine, cesium and strontium affected many parts of Europe virulently. Weapons grade radioactive material is way more detrimental, even microgram quantities of plutonium and uranium is extremely toxic. Given the proximity of Pakistan and India; both countries and other regional states would suffer dire consequences. Not to forget legitimate retaliatory strikes would further worsen the situation. You should really stop this warmongering.
The American people were lied to about Vietnam, with tragic consequences.
The American people were lied to about Iraq, with tragic consequences.
The American people are being lied to again today. We cannot allow history to repeat itself.
It took 18 hours for the US strike package to carry out "Operation Midnight Hammer" plus dozens of tankers for air-fueling and diligent synchronization according to general Dan Caine. One possible inference from this is that these bombing runs cannot be executed multiple times in a short period of time. So, though the US has struck Iran; the region remains at the discretion of Iran, at-least until and unless the US decides to strike Iran again.
As indicated by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs excellent briefing this morning, the attack on Iran to set back its nuclear capabilities was very successful. To avoid a protracted conflict, we should now consider a 2 part initiative: a comprehensive ceasefire (including between Israel and Iran) and US-Iran negotiations. The alternative of enlarging our objective and embracing regime change by military means, attractive as it would be, risks a potential protracted conflict. The Iranian people deserve a much better government, but the initiative must come from them.

This is absolutely right. Iran now probably feels an existential threat. To ensure its security it will consider developing nuclear weapons as its top priority. Diplomacy is the finest of tools, but it requires patience. With the current development appeasement seems highly difficult.
