@andrewducker Not quite, deepest darkest West Lothian. We are on the other side of town from the high school but not rural by most measures. I'm waiting for them to go to Uni so we can move back into town!
@andrewducker School is about a 10 min drive from home, but the bus takes a circuitous route. School starts at 8:25, walk is about 40 mins so you can why they get the bus. Primary was an 8:50 start, much easier in the morning.
@andrewducker Ah, the joys of small people. Both ours were good sleepers at that age, in fact even as 15,16 year olds they still need to be enthusiastically woken up. They leave the house at 7:30 to get the bus to school.
@katelovescode @kariebookish https://t.co/KEu4nwxWah This is the beginning of a vest I knit, it would have been a disaster if I'd just stuck to another shade of blue.
PSA: If you log into Netflix or Prime at an holiday home, you really should log out before you leave otherwise there’s a temptation to mess with your ‘continue watching’ or worse.
@pjmck I don’t bother. I have to spell both my maiden name and married name, so if I’m booking something unimportant the I book under the name ‘King’. A trick I learned from my MiL.
@kariebookish A brioche DK vest in black cotton. Special request from my 15yr old to wear for school next term. I never get requests, so when I was asked I jumped straight on it.
