Last Wednesday (the 26th), We were called out by @HWFireControl to Attend an incident in Arley.
3 people and their 3 dogs were rescued from there flooded Property. #Volunteers

This morning Our Volunteers have been deployed to Bewdley to assist in the emergency services operation after the flood barriers breaching last night.

Our Thoughts are with #Bewdley #Ironbridge #shrewsbury and other areas affected by the flooding.

What a week that was! Our Amazing crews have been out non stop dealing with flooding since #StormDennis arrived. You would think they would be home resting🤷‍♂️😂 ... not this lot, straight out fundraising for the much needed funds that are required to keep SARA going #Volunteers 👍🏻

Last night Crews from @SARAWyreF & @SARATewks were tasked to help @HWFireWFhub @HWFireControl & the @EnvAgency in Bewdley monitoring the river level and flood barriers.
Due to the concerns, we have returned tonight to keep Bewdley safe for a further night #Volunteers

24 elderly residents have been evacuated from a care home in Whitchurch. They had to be helped out of first floor windows into boats. They’re being cared for at an emergency centre in Ross on Wye. @HWFireControl @HWFire @SARAbeachley @HfdsCouncil @WMerciaPolice

We have been deployed in #Herefordshire this afternoon and into tonight Working with @HWFire @HWFireControl We have used boat to perform welfare checks on residents in areas cut off by flood water and have been evacuating residents whose homes are flooded or have lost power.

Last night, the Land Search team from @SARAWyreF were out training in the local area.

The training included looking at different search tactics depending on the situation and our environment. Also included a Casualty for crew to locate, assess and extract to a safe location.

SARA is committed to delivering water safety education to schools and groups in the hope that deaths can be prevented. Our crew members deliver water safety talks and presentations to local schools, youth clubs, guides, scouts.
